Why does this say it is white when elsewhere it says it's stainless steel?

No idea but mine is black and chrome and brilliant compared to my previous two plastic ones. They creaked and bent under the strain whereas this one is robust and appears destined to be long lasting. Very easy to use and clean afterwards. I suppose there is one slight gripe - the maximum length of whatever being spiralised is about 4 or 5 inches so carrots and courgettes are done 'in halves' ...but it is still by far the best one I've had (my other two are bound for the charity shop). Used frequently and thoroughly recommended.
