If the Pixel 7 case is truly a MagSafe case then the MagSafe grip should work with this case.

Can this be put straight onto phone without a case?

Yep. My iPhone 13 has a good grip when attached without the case but a case gives better protection

Can i charge the phone using magsafe without removing this item?

You have to take the pop socket off when charging your phone using MagSafe. But it’s not an issue. Alternatively you can just use your lightning cable.
