I bought it to keep my head from getting sunburned when I ride a Seado. It gits securely and is not likely to blow off.

Got these for a somewhat weird reason - the pads on my motorcycle helmet rub my hair each time I put it on, and it was causing damage and breakage to my hair. So, I picked these up in order to help protect my hair and reduce the damage. Turns out, it works pretty well! I wear a full face helmet and this fits under that helmet just fine, though it does make my helmet a bit more snug than it used to be (as expected, honestly). No issues putting the helmet on over it. The cap does usually come off with the helmet each time, but I consider that to be as expected. It's currently the cold season, so I definitely have not tested this thing with heat/sweat conditions, but if you've got all the vents on your helmet closed, it does work as a pretty good additional insulator for warmth! Open the vents up and the air flow will, of course, keep everything plenty cool. I imagine it will be fine in the summer due to the simple fact that moisture being pulled away from the fabric will induce a cooling effect. I have a pretty small head (extra-small motorcycle helmet), and this fits just fine compression wise, but can come a bit low on my forehead/over my eyes if I don't take a moment to pull down the extra in back. Pretty much the usual when you have a head like mine. Lol.

Looks and feels great on my head, I always wore a baseball cap and it hurt my forehead since I am bald, but this skull cap is perfect. I highly recommend getting this.

Update 2/18/25: I really needed more of these beanie hats as I lost my last one recently. I decided to order one of each color to see if there are differences, as even recent reviewers state either too small or perfect fit. What I found is, there are three different “sizes” of this supposedly one-size-fit-all product. The second picture tries to visualize that. Red and olive are laughably short. Maybe fit a child’s head. On my “L” head, white and grey just reach the earlobes. OK for most situations but in stormy weather, cold air will enter your ears. Blue and black are the longest and fully close off your ears. I tried to contact the company a while ago about their sizing issue. Never heard back. Sad! In any case, I hope this review helps others pick the right size and avoid their misfits. —- I had purchased two of these beanie hats in the past to fit under a bike helmet and as a light-weight and comfy hat for hiking and outdoors. I lost one of them and purchased a new one. To my disappointment, the current product is very different. Look at the pictures that I attached. The material is over an inch shorter, almost like a kids hat. It doesn’t cover the ears at all (unlike shown in the product pictures). Also, the cloth is different. Previously it was soft and comfu material. Now it feels cool and plasticky, not pleasant for cool weather. I don’t know what changed in their production but unfortunately I’ll need to look elsewhere for a replacement now. I really loved the old model.

I saw reviews that say it doesn't cover their ears. I have a big head and they CAN at least go over the tops of my ears but I don't care about that. I care that I no longer have to wipe my face while I'm riding my horse in the Florida heat. When I take off my helmet a slight breeze feels so good. I'll probably buy these again. I was going to today but I don't NEED them today and they're a little pricey. I can wait.

It fits and works perfectly just as described

Ho già una cuffia più calda per quando si va attorno allo zero, per cui ho preso questa per le temperature attorno ai 10 gradi. La uso sotto al casco della MTB (faccio all mountain/enduro) e è molto comoda: non sembra di averla addosso, né lascia segni sulla pelle (il tessuto è veramente leggero). Tiene la temperatura senza scaldare eccessivamente e assorbe il sudore senza dare la sensazione di umido; se sale il sole e si arriva a 15 gradi la tolgo, preferisco non avere nulla. Il lavaggio a freddo in lavatrice con tutti gli altri indumenti della bici non gli ha dato nessun problema. Dimenticavo.... non ho più i capelli se non sulla parte inferiore, ma li tengo molto corti; da qui la necessità di una cuffia per non sentire freddo. Personalmente la consiglio, è stato un ottimo acquisto.

Passt perfekt auch auf meinen eher kleinen Kopf, Gr. 55. Fühlt sich gut an überdeckt die Ohren und hält in der Übergangszeit auch ein bisschen warm, genau was ich wollte und es wirft keine falten.
