Amazon Basics Wet Dry Shop Vacuum Cleaner, 4 Gallon, 3 HP Stainless Steel, Grey/Black

Good little wet/dry vac. Seems to work really well. Have tried both wet and dry part of it and does good job cleaning up messes. Not to much putting together, wheels and handle on top. Very simple. Cord could be a little longer but works. It is small so easy to pull around. Good suction.

Wow this thing is awesome!! I don’t usually write reviews, but this vacuum is really powerful. I love that it’s small and lightweight so it’s easy to move around. The steel is super shiny and high-quality. Easy to clean. There’s a little bit of setup to attach the handle and wheels. Screwdriver needed. I wanted a shop vac to clean my car and hard-to-reach spaces and it’s perfect for that. Works well for someone living in an apartment or somewhere without a garage to store a larger shop vac, but the power is the same as a more expensive, industrial one.

I almost did NOT buy this vacuum because in the spec's it was rated at 4 HP. One HP is 746 Watts. So 4 HP is a tad shy of 3000 Watts. That would pull about 25 Amps of current from a household circuit. That was way more than I wanted to pull in my shop where I have other lights, machines and computers on the same circuit. I made an educated guess/bet that someone somewhere made a mistake in listing this as 4 HP. So I bought it anyway because everything else about it looked good. When it arrived, I set it up and put it on my Kill A Watt meter, and lo, much to my relief it pulls only 790 Watts (see photo). So I can use this in my shop when other things are on as well. Does it work? Oh yes. It is great. It has considerably more suction than the little plastic vac I bought at the big orange chain store (which I did kind of like for its small size and general utility, but which never seemed to last more than a year or two of moderate use before the bearings would wear out). The hose on this machine is larger diameter (which means less resistance to the airflow along the way) and nicely flexible and even rotates in the fitting on the vacuum body so that it is easy to change the orientation of the working end. It also blows air out the exhaust very well when you want to plug the hose into that end and use it as a leaf blower or car drier. I was skeptical about whether I would enjoy having casters on it, but they don't take up a lot of extra room and it is kind of nice that this will follow you around easily as you vacuum a shop or you car. It comes with a useful assortment of tool end fittings. Overall: perfect moderate size (not too big or too small), economical price, excellent suction and blowing power, sturdy enough build, good hose and tool attachments, and luckily it doesn't draw so much power that you'll be blowing circuit breakers!

I bought this primarily for cleaning my cars, and honestly, it’s a great value. The plastic material feels a bit cheap and thin, but the performance is perfect. It has plenty of suction and the long power cord is a huge plus for reaching around the vehicle. If you can get past the lightweight feel, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Definitely worth it for the price.

This is the perfect alternative to the giant shop vacs that you find in the big box stores. I have had a small (no wheels) shop vac for years but it finally died. I wanted something larger but all I could find locally were the large vacs. This is the perfect solution for my space. The features & power are really impressive, all the attachments can be stored on the top of the vac. The power is just right if you do not have a huge space to clean and it goes together quick and everything fit & works. The one negative I kept reading was that the cord is too short. It is much shorter than others on the market but I always needed an extension cord with my old vac so I was fine with the shorter cord on this one,

This little guy is awesome. Powerhouse suction and cool attachments to get the job done. I use it for my small grooming salon and it actually holds more hair than you think. It’s actually not a total eyesore either. Like a little R2D2! Would definitely buy again.

It has serious power for a small, light vacuum and does an excellent job in helping me keeping the area around our parrots tidy and with the types of messes that our active household somehow manages to make that regular vacuums just can't tackle.

This thing works! I bought to use to clean our my above ground pool. It was full of leaves and about 3 inches is water. This vac made quick work of it and sucked up the leave no problem! It did need emptied very frequently but it didnt matter to me! And I love the metal bottom. Very easy to clean and doesn't absorb odors like plastics!

Great vacuum for the price. The suction is strong and easily handles both carpets and hard floors. It’s lightweight, easy to move around, and simple to use. Cleaning and emptying it is quick and hassle-free. For such an affordable option, the performance really stands out. Definitely a solid choice if you want something reliable without spending too much.

This is a great vacuum, I have purchased many vacuums over the years, usually name brand, and some that were incredibly expensive and I have never been satisfied. This is amazing! I have guinea pigs and rabbits and this is great for vacuuming up hay and poop, plus I use it around the house. It's lightweight and powerful. The only downside is the cord is shorter than I would prefer, so I have to use an extension cord with it.

Bought it for car detailing and little jobs. So far it's working well. Has good suction and does the job.
