These Jujubes are of the highest quality. They are big, moist, chewy and flavorful. When the bag is opened, the sweet scent of the fruit contained wafts pleasantly outwards. Will most assuredly purchase again.

Pantry Staple
Love these, also another staple I have been traveling with. I found a recipe for a TCM tea that involves red dates, goji berries and ginger. Very tasty, hydrating and warming. Great for the skin. Long shelf life because they are dried!

Acquired taste
They taste horrible and the texture was slimy. Even though the have great medicinal properties if you canโt palate them they are a waste of money.

Donโt love them; much drier and blander than I had hoped
I am used to Medjool dates, which are sweet, soft, and chewy. These are, by comparison, quite dry and much blander. I actually heard about jujubes from a Chinese TV show, where the participants chugged these down like chocolate candy. I much prefer the Medjool dates. However, I assume these have Much less sugar and calories, so I will keep them around when I am climbing the walls looking for something sweet (as I donโt keep sugared foods in the house). I would consider these as more of a healthy snack when hungry (they are not pitted) rather than a dessert or treat. Also, they donโt have the crunch that I had heard about, so not sure if these are even the snack I was looking for.
