Bitter under-taste when you (ironically) suck them. Tastes good if you just bite pieces off and eat them.Definitely causes methane build up. Surprised more people aren't talking about the farting lol.Guilt free and delicious when eaten in chunks so I would still recommend.Though, once I've lost all the weight I need to, I'm definitely switching back to issue-less sugar chupa chups.

You get 3 flavours in a box and they're really yummy!!Only downside is that the individual wrapping can be really tricky to take off, sometimes needing to cut it out of it

I buy these for my type 1 diabetic grandson. They are the only sweet I give him with no worrys. Although not to many as the sweeteners can cause diarrhea.

Chupa Chups has managed to keep their iconic flavour profiles intact.Being sugar-free, they are a lifesaver for diabetics or anyone trying to cut back on sweets without sacrificing the ritual of a lollipop.The Bad: The "Paper Stick" ProblemHere is where the experience falls apart, literally. I appreciate the move toward more eco-friendly materials, but these paper sticks are simply not up to the task.About halfway through the lollipop, the moisture from your mouth causes the paper to soften. Before you're even finished, the stick loses its structural integrity and the candy head detaches completely.Warning: This turns a convenient lollipop into a loose hard candy, which can be a bit of a choking hazard if you aren't expecting it, especially for kids.Final VerdictThe candy itself is a 5-star treat, but the engineering is a 1-star fail. If you don't mind eventually just sucking on a loose piece of candy once the stick gives up the ghost, buy them for the flavour. If you’re buying these specifically for the "pop" experience, be prepared for a bit of a sticky mess!Would I buy again? Probably, but I'll be keeping a close eye on that stick.
