Its the 1000rpm version. More expensive than others but so much quieter.
I'm using this as an intake fan on my Phanteks Evolv ITX. Its much quieter than the stock 200mm fan and still delivers the same cooling effect. Its slightly better in fact. It was between this and the Venturi HP14s for my intake and it does very well. There isn't as much static pressure as the HP14s but given its pushing air though my PSU cables and HDD cage its doing very well and it is much quieter under load. Its more expensive but it is really good and the all matte black finish is really nice and it comes with a braided cable if you are looking for a cleanly designed fan. Definitely would recommend if you are looking at a higher end fan.

SILENCE!!!!
I've combined two of these fans at the front of my case pulling air in and a single 120mm fan at the back extracting air and they work a dream. Because of the size of the fans you dont need them on a high speed to keep your system cool which makes for a silent pc. I have mine plugged into a fan controller to change the speed when my temperatures rise and they just work great. I was going to go for some fancy RGB fans but i wanted performance over looks so i got these and i dont regret it. The fans are basically inaudible at low speeds, the most noise is coming from my CPU fan which is a stock fan so its expected. I would recommend these fans to anyone going for a silent build while still maintaining a good looking pc. 10/10

bequiet! is right!
If you want the best performance in regards to cooling along with the minimal amount of noise, you shouldn’t be looking anywhere else, as these fans are the perfect package.I recently replaced my PC case as I was fed up of my room feeling like the inside of a furnace due to poor airflow, meaning the heat would just build up inside the case and would take forever to disperse. Rather than sticking with the 3 front stock fans, I decided to swap them all out for these PWM versions, so that I can have the fans speed up or slow down depending on what temperature my GPU hits. I’m happy to say that not only does my graphics card run usually around 6°c cooler while playing games, but it’s also thanks to 4 of these fans (3x front and 1x back) - that my PC runs so much quieter and cooler overall. If you have 4 spaces for 140mm fans in your case and think that £80 for some fans sounds ridiculous, then you really need to try even just one to see how well they perform. You won’t regret it!

The perfect fans.
Several years ago I embarked on an overly extravagant watercooling project in the pursuit of silence. Only to realise, after great expense, a computer is only as quiet as its fans..After much trial and error I landed with the older SilentWings 2 and was blown away by their quality, engineering and silence. These newer SilentWings 3's offer supposedly quieter operation for the same airflow.BeQuiet offer two installation methods, although I see no reason to use the hard plastic one. Very easy to install - much quicker than screwing them in place and easier to remove in the future. I run the fans at 500RPM while idle and it is silent - no mechanical noise, no electrical noise. At full speed the only noise is that of the air being cut up and sucked through the fans through the case. If, also in the pursuit of silence, I would highly recommend these fans over other brands (I've tried them!). Just don't expect flashy RGB lighting as per the current trends..

Be Quite 140mm Vs Corsair RGB 140mm
First off, Im using the Asus X470 F Gaming Motherboard along with the AMD Ryzen 3700X and the NZXT 630 Phantom case "Because I Love It" and so the is plenty of cooling in this case and also a good few PVM FAN HEADERS on the board.Im using the Be Quite Silent Wings 3 PWM 140mm Fan and straight away I noticed a difference in noise when I installed it "which was very easy". The CPU was reading a temp of roughly 30c at idle then I went into the ROG Bios and optimized all the fans and to be fair I had never done this before and the Cpu Temp went down to 25c which was showing on the ICUE software as Im also using the Corsair Hydro 115i Platinum. Now there is a vast difference from the noise levels to what it was, to what it is now.The new Be Quite fan is first class and now to be fair the old Cooler Master 140mm fan did last at least 10 years and probably was on its way out but compared to the Corsair 140mm fans that on the AIO, I would say by the sound that the Be Quit 140s are defo quieter and I would be looking to swap those out in the near future although the RGB of the Corsair 140s are nice. I can see Be Quite making RGB fans in the future if they dont already but I just wanted a plain black fan for the back of the case.UPDATE 12/09/20: I recently bought a new case "The Lancool 2 Mesh White RGB" and it a great case but the included 3 Rgb fans sounded like a jet engine even with my headset on and because the fans were 3 pin DC I had not much control over them and I couldnt stick it. So I swapped the out for 3 more Be Quite 120mm PWM fans and now man what a difference. These Be Quit are worth every Penny in my eyes. Sure I havent got the RGB effect but I have got a mess of cables to match. Give me function over looks anyday.

Could be better.
I have the Be Quiet Facebook page liked and followed since before they launched this fan and saw them hyping up how this fan is so very quiet with its six pole motor. So since then I was so very hyped to buy one.The Six pole motor is supposed to make the fan motor super extremely quiet but setting the fan speed anywhere above 82% has a really really horrible motor noise coming from it. The 6 pole motor does not make the fan any quieter than any cheap AKASA fan I have ever used. Its the 1000RPM model too which makes it even more odd because the motor doesn't go that fast but yet its the loudest part in my computer. Even my GigaByte GTX1070 with Gigabytes aftermarket cooler is quieter than this fan and its a loud graphics card while gaming.I have the fan curve in my motherboard set to go no higher than 80% where it is dead quiet and I tried using PWM and DC modes but the fan motor is just as noisey in both modes. If you are in the market for a quiet fan then I suggest you buy the SHADOW Wings 2 fan instead. The Shadow Wings 2 fan won't be any good for a CPU cooler though.
