They work a treat!
Bought this set in hope of removing two snapped exhaust studs on my maxi scooter.After several attempts with various tools I wasn't convinced these would work! How wrong was I!!! 8mm studs extracted with ease! These things grip very well to what was a very sheared stud! Saved me a small fortune in garage repairs I bet! Little beauties! Highly recommended for any tool kit!

In theory a good product, in practice they’re useless.
The media could not be loaded. I tried this stud remover socket set as the variety it provided seemed good to be able to tackle an engine overhaul. No matter what angle I tried, I could not get them to purchase the studs. I ended up buying another more expensive product from Halfords which is very well designed and removed every stud without any problem. Even using a grinder to add a rough or angled surface for this socket set still did nothing to extract anything. Back to the drawing table with these I think!

A must have in you workshop
For the money you can't go wrong tried them on manifold studs of my bmw and they were great

Needs constant pressure
It will loosen the grip when pressure is not applied, just hold the socket when rotating the ratchet back or a quarter turn to grip every ratchet.

They can slip
They did the job well enough i did have 2 stubborn studs that didnt budge with fire anf lots of fluid and these are the studs that this kit slipped on the rest of the studs twisted out easily with these wish it did have instructions just to say oh this is how they work but hey ho

broke on first use of the 8mm socket with hardly any pressure, internals dropped out
