It will work on metal but only if you sand the surfaces first and completely wipe clean; but it's not ideal.

With some limitations, it will stick rubber to plastic, however, it will not stick silicone rubber and it will not stick some plastics, those of a nylon or polythene nature or those of the flexible types used for spectacle frames. The extent of the flexing of the finished joint will also have an influence where regular excessive movement may just bring about debonding. Hope this helps.

Will this work for sticking a small worktop (1ftx1ft) onto a flat surface?

I would think this would do the job. Use a flexible spreader to ensure that you spread the glue thinly over the entire surface of both the bottom of the worktop and the flat surface. When the glue is dry, carefully position the worktop as, once the surfaces come together, the bond is instantaneous and you won't be able to make any adjustments.

Would this seal a small hole on the side of my hot tub

No. To seal a problem like that you need a layer on the outside. Also on inside. You need an expert.

Very handy ,tubes seem to be the better way like superglue. obviously for using it a lot perhaps it’s in would be better, but I just open it second time and it’s gone off.
