This was delivered within 3 days, which was much quicker than I expected, and it worked as expected. The price could be a cheaper as this is old memory tech these days, but I'm not complaining as I bought it at the price on offer, just knocking one star off. Use the Crucial system scanner to check for memory compatibility with your existing motherboard, on the Crucial . com site and look for system scanner, to be sure this will work for you. When installing, you need to press down quite firmly to ensure the card(s) are seated correctly. You will know it's right when the clips for holding the card in place, rise up and clamp down as you press.

I bought this to increase the RAM in an ageing ACER M3910. I selected the upgrade on the recommendation of the app on the Crucial website which scans the subject computer and also after extensive research to determine how it should be installed in the four available RAM slots in my ACER to obtain dual-channel operation. I am pleased that it was immediately recognised by the computer after installation. In conjunction with a Crucial SSD this has provided a significant increase in speed on my computer. Of course, it's early days yet, and I have no information on long-term reliability of the memory.

I am not affiliated to Crucial in any way but they deserve a good recommendation. For anyone who is looking to upgrade their RAM or hard drive I would suggest a visit to Crucial's website as once you give them the details of your system they can tell you how much RAM you can upgrade to and which RAM is compatible with your system, same for the hard drives. Arrived ahead of schedule and intact. Easy to replace existing RAM and has doubled the RAM of my desktop making for a better experience. I would recommend this company and their products and sleep soundly at night doing so

Whilst I have a reasonable amount of practical competence I am not an electronics engineer and was more than a little apprehensive about fitting these to my 9 year old Dell. I watched and read every piece of information I could find and decided I would go for it. I followed the instructions to the letter and used tips I had found in my research, like ‘don’t use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from inside’. The old memory came out easily, the new went in without a problem having made sure they were paired correctly. Cover on, power on and away it went! The first time it was switched on it was a little slow to start up but no problems after that. The memory is recognised, all seems to be good, and I am both relieved and pleased.

Very easy to install and it is clear performance has been improved considerably. Far cheaper than replacing computer. As I've only just installed I can't give them a 5 star rating for durability yet.

Awesome product threw it into my old pc from 2011 what was 4 gig. Its a lot faster now. Windows 7 uses a fair bit of resources and my 4gig was always at 50% usage just idling on the desktop, now i have this stuff in i idle at 23% total ram usage.

Arrived as declared and just made sure I touched a bare metal surface before starting, to avoid any static problems. Very easy and simple to fit, took 5-10 minutes including taking the case off and putting it back on. Restarted computer and everything checked okay. Now showing 16GB RAM rather than 8GB. I have an old Dell OptiPlex desktop that was so slow I could drink a cup of coffee before it would boot up. I was so frustrated with my desktop, I was looking for a new one. I am sure glad I looked at upgrading my RAM. I took a chance and spent a few bucks on memory. I am so glad I did this, my computer is like new. Saved myself hundreds with just a small purchase. This memory was so easy to install, just plug and play. My old cranky computer did all the rest. Look at this as an option, the chips came packaged very well and in an anti-static guard. Absolutely love this memory and was super easy to install, was up in minutes and my screen went for blury to clear. Super happy!!!

Come da titolo, queste ram ddr3 sono perfettamente compatibili con la scheda madre Asus P5QC, sono state rilevate immediatamente in automatico, funzionano come ddr3 1333, a 1.5 v senza problemi. Ogni banco di queste ram presenta 16 chip in totale (otto su ogni lato). Non ho rilevato miglioramenti prestazionali all' avvio del sistema operativo, all'apertura delle cartelle o del browser di internet. Invece il computer è molto (molto, molto) più veloce durante le sessioni di gioco: a gta 5 sono scomparsi del tutto quei fastidiosi lag, adesso gioco in full hd con dettagli medio - alti e texture normali a 60 fps stabili. Sono veramente soddisfatto. OTTIMO acquisto. In foto le specifiche del mio pc

I used the Crucial website to determine which RAM works and this one is what it said to use! Super easy to install. It is 100% compatible with the stock 8GB RAM I had. I now have a combined 16GB of RAM and could not be happier! Great upgrade for the old 2013 XPS 8700. My Dell just keeps on going strong. I do play some games and it is very capable but I would not call my PC a gaming PC at all. Anyway I hope this review helps others who might have a Dell XPS. Thanks.
