Maxlite Laptop Backpack

I purchased this backpack primarily for air travel and it works great! I love the versatility of the design with enough pockets and compartments to keep my stuff organized but not so much as to add needless complexity. The padding is generous and comfortable, but the backpack is amazingly lightweight overall. My largest Surface Pro laptop fits easily and feels well protected. The smallest exterior pocket, which is secured with an easy open magnet, is very convenient for slipping in my large Samsung Galaxy Pro cellphone when going through security. The materials are robust and the workmanship is excellent. The zippers glide smooth and silently and gussets allow the pockets to open just the right amount for easy accessibility. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and my wife says the backpack looks sleek and stylish when worn. The backpack fits easily under the seat for air travel, even in the narrower aisle seats (or in the overhead bins, of course). The only quibble I have is the relatively small size of the zippered drink holders on either side of the backpack. I'd like a bit more adjustability in these, but this a minor suggestion as they okay as is. I made them work by getting two smaller bottles that fit. It it just that large water bottles don't fit or feel secure in the pockets, and larger drink containers seem be common now days. I particularly like the way the backpack stands upright when I set it down. This makes it very convenient to travel with and sort through when I'm on the road. I also like the design of the cross chest strap to secure the shoulder straps. It can be adjusted up or down and switched to snap from the right or left, or easily removed if desired. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and recommend this backpack highly.

CONTEXT: I really like backpacks and own at least 8 for specific functions, from EDC , Fishing, Fitness, Tennis and Luxury. Some super budget and others very pricey. Wanted a spacious piece to slide over the handle of my new Travelpro Maxlite 5 Softside Checked Luggage Spinner, Black, 25-Inch | Medium Checked Suitcase. PROS #1 (subjective): to assuage trepidations about the sizing - I’m 6’ 175 lbs and this pack fits very comfortably on my back and yes I would/could use this for office or school - but others find it the wrong size for that application. PROS #2: Excellent materials, zippers, build quality, lite weight, various storage options, padding, looks and ergonomics. Tempted to put into my everyday rotation but I think I’ll relegate it to companion status for travel. ie. w/ the aforementioned Maxlite 5 or on my back while I caring a Moore and Giles Benedict Weekender. CONS: Black was my only color option and sizing might be wrong for some uses/users. VERDICT: Excellent buy at this price point and highly recommended. Hopefully this review was useful/helpful. Happy Trails! ☮️

High quality. Good zipper

No, there isn’t one more single thing I could add to this part, but it fits everything that I need to fit for my travel travel quite often two days a week three times a month and everything fits in their perfect but like I said before once you have everything in it, keep it there and make sure you have it organized perfectly

Nice quality. Could use a few more pockets and features, but overall great backpack.

I love it. High quality nylon exterior. Lots of room inside for laptop and charger and anything else you want to carry. Plus lots of zipper pockets inside the other compartments for phone chargers, wallet, earbuds, medicine, keys etc. to keep them organized. I like the exterior magnetic pocket for quickly stowing pocket stuff at airport security. You can use this as a carryon backpack for short trips. TravelPro badge so airline gate agents just nod, they know its the right size!

So, it's very interesting that this backpack has 5-star reviews. It is absolutely HUGE, and fits exactly under the seat in an airplane. It also has a lot of returns, and that may be for a few reasons: Gigantic Size without squishability. It is more like a piece of luggage than a backpack. It doesn't have any pen or business card pockets. It isn't probably the best backpack for the school or office because of its size. It's just very large. This backpack is perfect if you don't want to check luggage on a flight. It also works great on top of my rolling luggage. However, I may be looking for a different backpack for everyday use and keeping this one for flights only.

Very rugged backpack BUT there are two nagging issues: 1. Doesn't hold liquid bottles well - larger ones fall out. Already dented my trusty thermos bottle when it fell out on the pavement. 2. Doesn't work well stacking on the Travel Pro Carry-On bag. Causes an imbalance causing easy tip over and really don't fit the Carry-On well at all.

An excellent product, spacious & well constructed. However, the two side bottle holders are too small to fit in the normal water bottles...therefore the 4 stars.

I love these backpacks. I now have two of them. They are well made and well thought out with plenty of storage and easy to pack. I love the fact that they stand up when empty and don't fall over. Great for laptop, work or just clothes for travelling.
