What does the pink chemical do that the green doesn’t?

Goes into the top flush tank which you use when yo come to flush the toilet. If you don't have a flush cistern on your caravan, then you don't need it. The green stuff goes into the waste holding tank which you empty into the chemical waste disposal unit. You then charge the waste tank with green ready for use in the toilet.

Can this chemical be disposed of in the septic tank ?

No the septic tank relies on bacterial acton you will kill the bacteria

Is this suitable for normal lavatories?

Hi re your question relating to use of caravan Pink bowl rinse. The pink bowl rinse is for caravan toilets which are made of PLASTIC while normal toilets are CERAMIC; I don't thik it will do any harm to use the Pink caravan on ceramic normal toilets. Hope tis hekps, Bryan
