Bought this for my husband because he works in a very hot environment during summer months . So he uses it to cool down during extreme hot weather. He places it under his shirt, around his neck and drapes over his shoulders. He cools down immediately. So this can be used for not only pain issues but as a cooling measure for the heat. The only downside is it doesn’t stay cold too long. In extreme heat, he says it stays cold about 30 mins. During regular moderate heat a little longer.

I do like this. It’s very flexible, wide enough to cover my shoulder and long enough even for me. The only problem is it gets freezing on your skin. Which is probably great for some. I just wrapped a dish towel around it and it was fine.

I've used this two nights now and it's not bad for the price. I suffer from constant neck pain/headaches and pain in the trap area due to cervical kyphosis as well as 1st rib dysfunction. My chiropractor suggested I go to sleep with an ice pack so I purchased this. I put this in a freezer when I wake up and pull it out before bed, it does get cold but I've noticed a few things I don't like: 1) once frozen it does not bend comfortably to go behind my neck and down the front. It feels stiff right at the area below my ears along my neck. 2) certain parts of the ice pack do not get as cold as others, most likely because of changes in thickness 3) the cold doesn't last very long (which happens with most ice packs) So a good ice pack for use during the day but probably not the best for bed time like I need.

Was having neck pain issues and of course a regular ice pack I would have to hold or tie it around my neck which was uncomfortable, but this was great! It helped my pain, helped me sleep, stayed on my neck while I worked (office). I love how one side is like a fabric so it's not too cold but if you flip it over it will be colder if you need. It's not heavy so it is comfortable. I was able to fit it under my xl polo shirt and you almost couldnt see it. Held up great so far and will continue to use when I need one.

I have 4 level cspine fusion. This looked great. I tried it and at first it’s great. We take our dogs for a walk-35-40 mins Halfway through the walk the back/neck part was warm-nothing cold about. The sides were still nice and cold & I could put on my cheeks & face I’m a disappointed -I bought 2. I’ll try the second one & review!

I use the same so much I had to buy another so I have two I use it for after my cervical fusion it helped a lot totally would recommend this it's very comfortable very lightweight if it's right behind the neck where it should!

I have ON and get migraines that stem from my neck. This thing is a life saver. Having something to hold onto as it wraps around is really nice to help apply pressure and consistent cool temps to the back of my neck. Its so soft that I can fall asleep on it and it's as simple as popping in and out of the freezer. Sick me is so thankful I bought this.

I got this because when I get migraines, holding cold packs on my neck seems to be one of the only things that really helps. This keeps the cold for quite a long time. And I have even used it to set on top of my head to help with my migraine that way. I keep it in the plastic baggy it came in to keep it clean in the freezer. I also find that placing it upside down so that the part that sits on the upper part of the neck is on the bottom works the best. That way all the gel is in that part when I get it out. The pack fits pretty good on the back of my neck, I do wish it was just a tiny bit longer in the front so it stayed in place better. Sometimes it will slide especially right after getting it out of the freezer. And I wished they had put in more areas to prevent the gel from pooling at the bottom of the front of the wrap. This would make it perfect! Nice and pliable. No stinky odor. Easy to use. Works great. Much easier to use than trying to keep a small hard ice pack in place. With this, you can just place it and relax.

The amount t of gel in this is not enough for sustained coldness and weight for it to sit nicely on shoulder or round neck, its light and just hovers. The material doesnt allow it to sit.
