Advent For Everyone:: Matthew

This book is a thoughtful consideration of the advent message. Not a wooly request for world peace and love. But a powerful request for people to consider how they respond to the teaching death and future kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Great book for small group study or personal use, easy read, thoughtful and encouraging questions.

An excellent easy read which makes appropriate and relevant commentary on passages from Mathew's gospel in preparation for Christmas! Looking forward to others in the series.

Tom Wright is great and always worth reading but this work is nothing new, just extracts from his Matthew for Everyone arranged in an order to suit Advent. I was hoping for more.....

Ton Wright is such a good writer, but I didn't feel he focused on Advent sufficiently.

I used this for Advebt Bible class. Some really good though provoking stories. Certainly made me think bout how Christ’s crucifixion is part of the advent story too
