Easy to install
They are genuine Epson cartridges so obviously compatible. They are expensive but not worth risking other cheaper brands. Only recently purchased but hopefully will last.

All printer ink is expensive but Epson ink works best for me
I have tried compatible ink cartridges and, whilst they produce perfectly acceptable results printing on paper, they were rubbish at printing photographs as the ink smeared across the paper but I have never experienced this with Genuine Epson ink which is also fade resistant. IT largely depends on what you intend to print. compatible cartridges are fine for everyday use but for printing on photo paper or CD's, you are better off buying genuine ink. I may look into buying one of the new ECOTank printers that Epson produce but I like the fact het my XP-700 Expression can print on several media formats so I will be sacrificing flexibility over cost (presumably the ECO Tanks are cheaper to refill as my printer costs £80 for a full set of cartridges and they do not last long)

Good quality printing whether text or pictures
Ink cartridges - what more is there to say. Price is extortionate as is usual for most printer manufactures own but I don't do a lot of printing and these are less prone to drying out than most 'compatible' cartridges, therefore cheaper in the long run. Good quality printing whether text or pictures.

Original Epson product at very competitive price
I use my printer for all printing jobs from Black & White printing to color prints of all kinds. There are ink cartrages that work very well for Black & white but on shiny photo paper they tend to smudge. Epson ink works on all papers

I resent having to buy Epson (even if it is infrequently.)
I normally use recycled cartridges on my Epson printer but, after about the third set of cartridges through, it throws a wobbly and I have to feed it the genuine article. I bought these through Amazon. The printer told me I needed to replace the cyan cartridge so I fed it the genuine article and it reported the cartridge as empty. Try as I might I couldn't get it to see the ink in the cartridge. Epson cartridges are black plastic so you can't see inside them [another reason to use alternative brands!] I know that Epson make this play about using genuine cartridges and genuine paper but I find the recycled cartridges give me perfectly acceptable results with Kodak, Ilford or Kentmere paper. The colours look pretty similar to what I am seeing on screen.

Qualitätstinte.....nie mehr was anderes !!!!
Ich muß im Vorraus erwähnen, dass ich früher viel mit Billig-Tintenpatronen von Chinaanbietern gearbeitet habe und auch Refillsysteme genutzt habe. Bei diesen Systemen mußte man immer viel reinigen, das Schriftbild war mies und es gab immer Probleme. Deshalb bin ich vor einigen Jahren auf Farblasersysteme ausgewichen..... was aber auch nicht das "gelbe vom Ei" ist. Relativ hohe Druckkosten....und wenn der Drucker anfängt zu spinnen, dann wirds richtig teuer. (Fixiereinheit, Bildtrommel usw.) Also kam ich vor nem guten Jahr wieder zum Tintenstrahler zurück.... Airprint, wLan, Scannen uswuswusw. für kleines Geld in der Anschaffung..... Beim Kauf hab ich mich schon auf verstopfte Tintenpatronen, verschmiertes Druckbild und teure Patronen "gefreut"..... Tja, alle Funktionen funktionieren wunderbar beim Gerät.....und verstopfte Patronen ??? Gibts nicht.... Die Erstausstatterpatonen hielten ca 4 Monate, ohne auch nur einmal ein schlechtes Druckbild abzugeben....und wir drucken mit dem Gerät selten. Ich hab mich dann zu diesen Patronen durchgerungen....und erwartet, dass ich zig-mal reinigen....Testdrucke und so weiter durchführen muß......nö..... Patronen rein..... der Drucker brummt los... rattert und klappert.... und ...Stille.... fertig. Konnte das gar nicht glauben....hab dann doch noch nen Testdruck gemacht und .... siehe da.... druckt wunderbar wie am ersten Tag :-) Mein Fazit: Nie mehr Billigpatronen.....lieber schauen, wo man die Originalpatronen günstig kaufen kann und die dann nehmen. Und da ist man bei Amazon richtig. Bei weiteren Fragen stehe ich gerne zur Verfügung.
