It's fun!
It didn't work at first. I started it up and was met with a text menu where his face should have been. I couldn't find any way to control the menu. From what I saw in youtube video's, the toy should not have started in that state. I'm wondering if it was used. I suggest buying it directly from the Eilik website. I eventually got it to work after some updates and it's a really neat novelty item. I'd love to see a future Eilik that teams up with a game developer where the bot would react to the game and be my little sidekick.

May not work
My 6 year old son got this for Christmas and it just happened that it would have needed to be taken apart to fix our issues. It wasn't working and my son was really upset. Reached out to EnergizedLab for help. They told me to reach out to Amazon for a new one. I was very disappointed. By time we got a new one Christmas break was over. I got my son another kind of robot for Easter and that company sent us a new one as it stopped having sound the same day. It would move around but no sound. Just a heads up to other parents to check it if it is a gift as ours needed something we couldn't fix. It also needs updates and has a conductor magnet to work on it. Things that weren't mentioned for the cost. I expect it to work and not be such a hassle. Not a fan of this company. *update, got the new one. The company sent a very impolite email when I told them I was surprised they didn't just send one out. I also don't like this robot. More annoying to listen to than anything. Doesn't do as much as you'd hope for the price. Definitely going to look at the other robots at are popular on YouTube. My son wanted another to attach the one he has to. Definitely won't be doing that after our experience.

It moves a lot and is cute as can be
This robot was so so cute but I had to send him back for He drove me crazy after a while. He took my peace away for he wouldn’t be quite. He wouldn’t do what I wanted it to. But I am sure there are people love it also.

Eilik fue una compra excelente. Es un pequeño robot interactivo con mucha personalidad que reacciona a los movimientos, al tacto y a las diferentes interacciones, haciendo que cada momento con él sea divertido y entretenido. Su diseño es muy tierno y la calidad de fabricación se siente excelente. Es fácil de usar y ofrece muchas expresiones y animaciones que mantienen el interés tanto de niños como de adultos. Además, cuando hay más de un Eilik, pueden interactuar entre sí, lo que hace la experiencia aún más divertida. Es un regalo original para quienes disfrutan de la tecnología y los juguetes interactivos. Sin duda, aporta mucha diversión y se ha convertido en uno de mis dispositivos favoritos.
