I like that this is a grass feed protein shake with simple ingredients and no artificial sweeteners. I need 30 grams of protein first thing in the morning and 30 grams before bedtime. I try to get 100 to 130 grams of protein in my diet each day to maintain muscle mass. These shakes really help me to meet my protein goals daily. I love the chocolate flavor best. I'm not a fan of their vanilla flavor. As a diabetic, I can have a sweet and one of these shakes to balance each other out. They really help me to control my food cravings and not spike my blood sugar. Oh, and the sweet cream coffee flavor is good too!

Yes, these are little more expensive than other protein RTDs but it is worth the extra if you can swing it. I used to buy a lot of the Muscle Milk RTD until they changed their formula. I take these to work as a meal replacement (2-3 per day) so I have tried a lot of batches at this point. The protein content is pretty standards and the overall nutrient makeup is inline with other quality shakes. The profile reminds me the Optimum Nutrition protein powder (always the go-to for powder over the years). I haven't had any texture issues or any chalky or undissolved solids with these. They are always smooth and the taste is solid. They don't have a weird protein aftertaste. The consistency falls somewhere around 1% chocolate milk and a thicker Yoo-hoo. I'm sure the grass fed label will matter to others. I don't really care much about that -- filtered and processed whey is pretty much all the same. For me: it's a quality protein from a reputable brand so I don't have to worry about them doing weird things to up the protein totals by using inferior proteins.

Great and easy. I make my breakfast coffee and add a Jocko Chocolate to make a latte. I get my caffeine and the high protein helps slowly ramp the caffeine so you skip the jitters and stops morning hunger issues. Can we get a Strawberry one? Please! You would make my lunch break a much happier time!

Honestly I’m a fan of all the Jocko products I’ve tried. The taste is there on every flavor, and doesn’t have any kind of chalky aftertaste that makes you regret your life choices. Price is slightly higher than some other shakes, however this are good quality and do leave you full for several hours so not a bad choice for a light meal when you need one.

The chocolate flavor is nice and dark. Ingredients say no artificial sugar, not sure exactly what “monk fruit” is but i detect a bit of a weird after taste. Not as bad as most protein drinks that i detest that “sucrolse” after taste. All in all, pretty good for a 30g protein drink, without all the sugar free crap.

So love this protein drink as it doesn't mess with my IBS-D gut. I looked up the ingredients before purchasing and ask Copilot about their effects IBS-D. It said that the Locust bean gum could be an issue and that xantham gum would be better.So i was a little more concerned. However now I am so pleased. Thank you Amazon for providing clean alternatives to chemical formulations many times.

Love the product but my last order I got some bottles that were extremely spoiled and sour. There's no direct support on amazon which is frustrating...Time to jump through hoops to get help...

We love all Jocko products but these are the perfect grab and go snack or meal replacement when you don’t have much time in the day! The chocolate flavor is also delicious!
