Installed in a 2006 Saturn Ion.First, amazon shipped it in a padded envelope instead of a box. This caused the package the knob was in to be crushed and opened causing the knob to fall out into the padded mailer, along with the small baggie of adaptors and screws. Second, the knob itself is pretty nice quality, feels like a solid machined piece of aluminum that is actually two pieces. It unscrews in the center to help know where to put it to hit the parking lock rod. Set screw went in easy enough, they gave me like 3 or 4, a nice touch in case one gets lost,the adaptors they give have a small flaw. They are sealed at one end preventing the lock rod from going through. I just cut it open, nice and easy. Second issue was the adaptor stuck too far down after install preventing me from installing the lower trim piece. Easy fix, cut to size and it threaded right on. Not that bad to install with a couple extra tools and some common sense.

I was unable to make the screws flush so I could screw the Bottom on. It was very frustrating I have bad hands try to screw for 2 hours had to stop upset!! Update went to the store to get small Metal file to flatten the screws so I could screw on the bottom It worked A product works fine no need for refund on new Product or You would also do well to lubricate the screw area thanks

I replaced a tired-looking shift knob with this all metal knob. Be prepared to tinker with the included rubber spacers to get the right fit for your vehicle. After trimming and poking a hole in several of the spacers, I found the one that worked.
