I have another brand of diesel on repeat order every month with Amazon but it went up in price and this was on offer so we had this instead. Did the job perfectly! Our VW T5 camper was losing substantial power on hills, dispite regular oil and filter changes. Using a diesel system cleaner it flys up the hills. Will definitely buy again. No negatives. Just returned from the Brecon Beacon Mountains and the camper went like a dream.

A must have for any diesel car driver, especially if you tend to use standard low octane diesel in your vehicle for cost reasons. Top up your car, add half a bottle of Redex and it will help keep your engine clean and assist in your emissions. Great price on Amazon too. No impact on vehicle or driving, just an excellent preventative measure!

So I do have an old 2008 C class, and this does definitely provide a slight boost in performance - making the car feel 10 years newer. I’m not entirely sold on the long term benefits as I feel the performance drops after 1-2 tanks when I stop using it, (I attempted 4 full tanks using redex) and I’ve never noticed a huge difference in noise. I would say in my experience it’s easy to use, and worth the boost in performance when the price is on offer, in most cases I would weigh up how much a premium diesel is vs adding this into a tank of cheap diesel. I am trialing Archoil brand of fuel additive to compare the difference, so I’m curious to see if there are any!
