Cafe Najjar Classic Coffee with Ground Cardamom 450g

Excellent quality, fresh, long expiry date and tastes amazing! I didn't like it at first too bitter and strong tasting but after a few cups and learning how to properly prepare with the foam its better than any espresso! The cardamom is overpowering when you first taste it but your taste buds adapt until its just a hint in the background.

The coffee itself seems quite good, but for me the cardamom taste is too overpowering. I use 1/3 of this coffee with 2/3 plain Turkish coffee, and that I find delightful.

Very tasteful coffee packed in foil sealing in the delightful aroma. Packaging was excellent, arriving as stated.

This is the classic arabic Qahwa bi Hael (cardomom coffee). The Najjar grind and roast are just right for any after meal coffee. The cardomom, one of the great digestives, ensures you will be able sleep when other coffees keep you awake.(Never to be confused with "Turkish" coffee.)

If you visit many Arab countries in the Middle East then the taste of this coffee is what a Turkish coffee tastes there. The hint of cardamom in the taste is the base differentiator as it is made in Lebanon. Any Turkish coffee made in Turkey will be pure and hence with a different taste. This one is also more “muddy” if you get my drift, so perhaps more finely ground.Edited:We did a mocha with this using a milk frother, 350ml skimmed milk, 3 table spoons coffee, and 3 table spoon Cadbury chocolate. The outcome was very nice with a fusion taste, you cannot readily distinguish between chocolate, coffee, and cardamom. Updated from 4 to 5 stars.

Unusual taste, but grows on you. I use a drip style filter to make and it tastes good.

Ich bereite es gerne mit Milch (statt mit Wasser) zu. Zubereitung im kleinen Topf. Wer mag kann noch etwas Zucker (ca. 1/2 TL/Tasse) hinzufügen. Mischung im Topf über der heißen Herdplatte stetig mit dem Löffel umrühren bis sich eine dünne Crema-Schicht bildet. Hiernach nicht mehr umrühren. Inhalt solange sich überlassen bis die Crema-Schicht langsam anfängt am Topfrand aufzusteigen. Es darf nicht überkochen. Daher Topf rechtzeitig von der heißen Herdplatte/Wärmequelle entfernen und Getränk im Mokkabecher servieren. Herrlich volles Mokka-Aroma, die Milch verfeinert die Bitternoten Richtung Schokolade, super bekömmlich und sehr lecker. Top Preis-Leistung.
