it says on the box for 6yrs and up there is no way a six year old could put this together instructions are poor and too many small pieces also its a lot smaller than i thought not happy with this at all my advise dont buy this

No child would be able to put this together, the instruction are practically non existent it was mostly guess work and perseverance that got me through the roof in particular was awful it just kept collapsing no matter what you did ,and the pictures didn't show where or how to do the roofing by the windows. Would not recommend this at all

Very quick delivery. Excellent service. Very complicated for a 6 year old but as not bought for young child this was not an issue.

Amazing.. I enjoyed building the villa..

I basically wanted this set for the parts to combine with others to build my own creation. The pictures and the box show it in lime green, which would have put a spanner in that plan. I like the beige colour a) because other sets are the same to combine b) because it nicely looks like light sandstone.Quality of bricks is good, they stick well. Colour is consistent. One bad roof tile part, but not an issue, plenty of spares, given me replacement of bad one, see second picture. Good one on the spares, real useful stuff not just pips and things.Excellent 24 by 48 grey baseplate. House open at rear, playable, no interior or interior tiling. Some external tiling. Nice external decoration, trees, see-saw, coffee table style garden furniture with satellite dish sun screen.See my photo, deviating from building instructions - making it more fun to build. Very robust set, takes the load of gigantic car. :) Car not included in set. ;) You just gotta have some fun, right? ;)The instructions, only downside of set. The pages 2 and 3 are mixed up, steps out of order. Also they like (as with other WANGE sets) to build these layer by layer. I personally find it more interesting to go back and forth in the manual and put up a wall at a time etc. Or build the whole roof without sticking to the paper religiously.A strange thing has happened with the box and the instructions. As I mentioned the box shows the house in lime green whilst the set is actually beige - sandstone coloured. Another strangeness with manual: You get what is on the box (except the colour maybe, if you like lime green, that is). However, the instructions show you 3 items not present in the set: a kind of parrot like bird, a dog and a little car thingy. Well, not on box and not seen on the on-line pictures presenting the set here at Amazon. So cannot really complain, but might disappoint some buyers when they go through the manual not finding these trinkets.For £32 you will get over 800 pieces, your choice if it is worth your while. No regrets for me buying this.
