Although you say this softener will fit under the kitchen sink cupboard the measurement stated seems too large for a standard kitchen cupboard unit?

It will fit inside a standard kitchen base unit but certainly not directly under the sink and its waste plumbing. I cut a hole in the base unit to lower my softener to the floor and make it easier to fill with salt.

No overflow on ours, it seems the newer models have a ballcock … please update the installation video and install kit accordingly Amazon. We spent ages trying to figure out where we were going wrong!

No, it won’t fit under a sink, it needs a space to stand in that does not restrict the access to the top.

can i adjust regeneration time not to meter delayed, but lets say to regenerate every 7 days ?

Not sure why anyone would want to do that, but it's certainly possible. My unit comes with meter and timer delay. I'd choose metered delay over timer to get the most out of this unit.
