Mattel Masters Of The Universe Masterverse Sun-Man Action Figure, 7-Inch Collectible Gift

It’s great and solid upgrade from original design. He could use pants to make it even better.

Sun-Man: Mattel continues to deliver in value, quality and design with the Masterverse line. Considering the Wings; the inclusion of a second set of hands, a shield, and the sword seem like a fair amount of accessories. At the retail price, Sun-Man is a good value compared to Marvel Legends or McFarlane from an accessory perspective. It has better articulation than Super7 and many NECA, and is very vibrant. If you haven't started collecting Masterverse yet, this is a great figure at its sale price.

Since starting my Masterverse collecting in 2025, I bought me a set of 100 acrylic paint to do some some custom painting on select Masterverse figures and accessories. Sun-Man here is one that I really went to town on. The most notable change is the wings. They come as a translucent yellow that looks very toy-ish, but with a nice coat of metallic gold, it brings out the texture of the feathers in them as seem in my submitted pictures. Other changes include painting the boot tops an Appls Green which matches the green on other parts of the figure, and the shoes Black to further enhance the contrast and match other parts of the figure. Same goes for the Spear. Painted the blades Gold, and the hilt Apple Green with Black parts. The Spear was originally all Vermillion Red.

This was a Christmas gift. It arrived quickly and in great condition. Looks wonderful!

I bought this figure with the intention of kit bashing it. replacing the head for a more mature James RHodes head, but looking at this figure it grew on me. They only thing I wish is that the hair in the drawing looked a little more like the figures hair. I will probably just accent some of the rune symbols. As they are you cant really see them. Ill use a wash to bring the design out. I may make the red and gold more vibrant like the SUN. This is not a Marvel level figure but this is still a great piece of history to have. I remember Sun Man when I was a kid in the 80's.

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! These Masters of the Universe (2026) action figures are absolutely fantastic. The attention to detail is incredible, and they stay true to the characters from the movie. The quality exceeded my expectations, making them perfect for both collectors and fans. I bought the complete kids collection, and they’re proudly displayed unopened on my shelf because they look so good in their original packaging. Even so, it’s easy to tell they’re built to be enjoyed. I’m sure any kid playing with these figures would have an amazing time and be thrilled with them. Whether you’re a collector or looking for an awesome gift for a young Masters of the Universe fan, I highly recommend this collection. They look amazing, are well made, and are definitely worth adding to your collection!

Excellent figure great addition to your collection

Love the wings- great modern Version of the Classic character Sunman. He looks a little angry though. Not sure if he comes apart at the waist- I wanted to change his costume. Great price. Glad I have him in my collection.
