How does this work with Expresso grind coffee, it's almost a powder?

Dear Customer, Its diameter hole is 0.2mm, it can be effectively filtered, and there will not be many powder in the cup. Hope this helps. Welcome you to shop in our store any time. Have a good time Sincerely yours --Nande

Does this work in Melitta pour over glass carafes? I have the 10 cup that calls for the #6 filter but I have used #4 paper before.

Dear Customer, It is a #4 standard size filter. If you have used the #4 paper filter before, I think it should be appropriate. Meantime, we also provide a refund or replacement service. Hope this helps. Wish you a good shopping experience in our store. Sincerely yours --Nande

Will this fit a cuisinart ddc-3400 coffeemaker?

Hello, It's a #4 cone reusable filter, fit for Cuisinart DDC-3400, more economical than #4 cone paper filters. Promotional Code: 4GTTDFXH

Do you put this in the plastic basket or remove the basket ?

Yes I put it in the plastic basket in place of a filter. Works very well.
