Brought this to help me transition from the stabilising boot the hospital give you after an fractured ankle. Found it to be a great help, while it does no completely immobilise your injury it does offer support & gives you confidence to continue with day to day tasks or in my case try to go back to work in the health profession where you are patient moving & handling & on your feet for long hours. It was great value for money, perfect fit for my size 5 foot, loved the Velcro bit for additional support, you just need to make sure you have a wide shoe that is house this on your foot, I had a normal trainer which I loosened all the laces to allow for fitting

Cons (The Reason for the Missing Star): • Shoe Compatibility: The brace is extremely difficult to wear inside most closed-toe shoes. The bulk created by the lacing system and the rigid side plates means it is too wide for all of her footwear, including trainers, school shoes, and even clogs. • Tricky to Wear: The full lace-up design is fiddly and makes it time-consuming to put on correctly, which is inconvenient for a teenager. Verdict: We are keeping this brace because the safety and high rigidity are paramount for her competition. It serves as a dedicated sparring/competition brace that she must put on before her trainers/Taekwondo shoes. However, if you need a discreet brace to wear all day in street shoes, this specific lace-up design is likely too bulky.

Great support. Completely unable to wear with any of my footwear

Most ankle supports seem to be designed to deal with issues at the back of the ankle. I had anterior impingement so needed something to look after the front of my ankle. This product was excellent during the more acute phase of my injury. I should've bought two of them really, one for each ankle. It is firm and supportive and really protected me against re-injury and pain. I'm an athlete - most relevant field is tumbling. I don't think I could wear it for tumbling, although I haven't tried. I think it would be horribly restrictive in terms of plantarflexion. However, I did wear it whilst jogging and playing less intensive sports such as badminton, and it worked very well indeed. It does fit inside a normal trainer but you wouldn't get it into a smart shoe I don't think. It's done me well with light use over a few months. It does take a minute or two to get on or off, but as long as you're methodical about the laces then it's fine. I am willing to spend the extra time doing the laces because I think the laces are an important part of what makes this product good. If you need support for your ankle, this product will help you.

I purchased this item on the basis that it was supposed to support my ankle, and provide enough support to fix the position of my foot. As to not further hinder my walking experience. I have a severely impaired ankle and this item was advertised as restricting ankle movement, as to say it was designed to allow walking without giving the ankle too much leniency. I finished my day's activities in agony as if I wasn't even wearing this ankle support. Even while wearing this ankle brace, the plastic support braces on either side of the product are supposed to restrict ankle movement, but in actuality, the plastic braces provide no support as they move freely and feel extremely flexible which contradicts its design. The idea of an ankle support brace is so the fixed foot position has the ankle aligned so that you can walk without the worry of your ankle giving way, as it is I ended my day's activities walking on my ankle. It was excruciating.

Im not sure if I wear it correctly but it does support my sprained ankle as has two plastics on side. Im quiet like that you can lace it. Im using with castor oil with tumeric compress so ignore the cloth in. Yellow colour doesnt bother me but this speed up healing. I needed that asap and paid for same day delivery - and received within couple hours. It seems matching my expectations.

Bon soutien après fracture cheville/opération/attente/ré-éducation. Quand je ne mets pas ma botte Walker je respire un peu en mettant cette chevillère. Parfait pour quand on reprend un peu la marche chez soi.Chacun devra suivre l'avis de son médecin. Cette chevillère me servira encore plus dans le futur. Soutient super bien et donne confiance.

La spedizione soddisfacente, rapida (ordinato il venerdì sera, arrivato lunedì mattina). Il prodotto corrisponde alla descrizione, i materiali sembrano buoni, ogni componente è ben pensata per poter dare una buona stabilità alla caviglia. L'ho preso per una importante instabilita' tibio-tarsica dal lato interno, che non riuscivo a gestire con altri tutori; questo ha una vestibilità tipo stivaletto, i laccetti permettono una graduale regolazione, la parte plastica che corre lateralmente, alla base e medialmente da' stabilità anche al tallone, oltre che stabilizzare notevolmente il movimento di eversione/inversione del piede; essendo sottile risulta sufficientemente morbida nella vestizione all'interno della scarpa. Non so dirvi se è necessario comprare un numero più grande di scarpa, ma per quanto poco ingombrante credo sia sufficiente allargare i lacci se avete una scarpa da ginnastica. Non so ancora dirvi la durata dei materiali, ma strutturalmente il prodotto mi sembra molto valido. Consigliato.

I ended up a third grade sprain, had to stay in a boot. After 6 weeks I had to start physio and was using a tensor wrap for support. I found this ankle support. You lace up the front and then wrap two sides around the foot and up the ankle, attaching to velcro. It's never too tight and you get amazing support, there are no metal or plastic parts and this fits comfortably in shoes. Best purchase I ever made for my poor foot.

Tuve un esguince de tobillo de grado 2, bastante feo y hasta me daba miedo andar porque me dolía mucho y al día siguiente me lo volví a doblar ya que antes te inmovilizaban pero actualmente dicen que no se debe tratar como una fractura, así que te obligan a mover el pié cuanto antes, calor y frío...con esta tobillera empecé a andar a los 2 días y muy bien, además de cómodo, me dió cierto confort el saber que mi pié no se podía doblar hacia los lados, guardando la movilidad total para andar. Lo recomiento al 100%, no será un dinero tirado el balde, te lo aseguro. Ojo, en cuanto desaparezca el hinchazón hay que dejar de usarlo, porque sino puedes no recuperar bien el pie, además de perder tu propia seguridad.
