OPINION IS 50/50
First observation: They sure use minimal packaging, BUT the item arrived in perfect shape. Second: Aw shucks, sure feels light as a feather, BUT it works fine. Third: Wow, the instructions number the four buttons in a weird way, BUT it starts to make sense while you follow along with the settings. TO summarize: The most frequent words used while setting it up? "Oh, okay. That's cool." It's very light-weight, but I got it within one second of cable-TV time. It took a little while to get used to, but it's the only watch I have that talks. IF you think watches are too heavy, you'll like this one. Despite what we will assume about cheap materials, it works very well. The voice sounds like it was sped up a little, but the genius thing is that it made the voice cut through the air a little better. These are not the speakers you're looking for. But hey... what do you expect? It's really loud enough for a watch. You can configure a lot: Voice; on/off (no volume); Alarm: Set, on/off; Alarm: songs and beeps to choose from (Yeah, surprised me too. Not a lot, but several choices nonetheless.); Notifications: Yes, you can set it up to announce the time, with ping, every hour on the hour. (or you can turn that feature off); Bummer - No light. But it has voice! That's what it's for. Still... would have been nice. HOWEVER, It has a few onscreen icons which come in handy. The screen is small. But it has voice! It does feel too light, but there are more controls over setup than I expected. I have it configured the way I like, with hourly notices (It functions kind of like a granfather clock, but with a voice and only one ping). There is no sound quality, but the sound IS there. I didn't try to pick one alarm sound for this, and a different sound for that. It's not an expensive watch. It does a little MORE than it's supposed to, so it deserves credit for that.Would I buy it again? I can not decide. So if you can get this one for a good price relative to what else is out there, yeah, this is a decent minimum.

Fun watch!
I love 80’s digital retro watches and this one fits the bill just nicely. Sound is very good and clear. I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun little inexpensive digital watch.

Unable to hear
Needs a volume control on it, too low to hear.

Good quality.
Music alarms are pleasant and sound clear and have good volume for the size of this wristwatch.

Works great but needs more volume.
Works well but It volume is lower than what I had hopped for. This is still a good value for the price. It works well but I'm hard of hearing and I need one louder.

The sound quality is squeeky and not very loud
As above. Nothing to add.
