iFixit Anti-Static Project Tray

What can be said about this item other than it separates screws & other small items safely away on work surface when doing maintenance/repair to electronic devices. My wife also uses it for making her crafting products to seperate things like beads, charms & clasps safely when she is making product. Cheap enough to keep a few about for multiple jobs being carried out at same time (especially if waiting for spare parts to turn up). Obviously it is of the great iFixit quality.

Quite a sturdy tray despite the fact that it looks and feels a bit flimsy. In use it was very practical with lots of small compartments to keep components separate and a couple of useful large compartments for storing tools. I would have liked an option to have some sort of marking system to write on/wipe off individual compartments to help identify what parts are stored as bits of paper don’t always stay put!. Other than that it was still good value

Very handy indeed. Should've gone with iFixit a long time ago, spending £40 with them has made my life so much easier and more organised than spending £100 over months of cheap toolkits etc. This tray is made of thin plastic but not that thin or flexible! It's actually pretty sturdy and extremely sturdy plastic for the thickness. Very useful. Plus it's A4 sized and they have screw maps for various repair guides but also a blank template ! - https://www.ifixit.com/Document/1646/.pdf meaning now I can easily label every screw with pen on the template.

Works well, just a little over priced in my opinion

I bought this because I needed something to put screws in when opening up laptops. What I like: the project tray contains a lot of different sections to put screws in, as well as two larger sections for larger parts (I put an SSD in the larger sections and could easily have fit multiple). It's made of hard plastic and feels very durable. What I don't like: for my use case, there wasn't really anything I disliked. However, if you intended to take this places, you would need a bag that could fit the project tray as-is as it's not got any 'give' to it, and if it did bend, I imagine it would break. However, for just being on my desk, this has served as a great peace of mind and a good tool for me. Overall, I'd recommend it,

This is made of the sort of flimsy transparent plastic often used in packaging- so much so that I thought that maybe I'd been sent an empty package, but no- it's the product. Apparently. It also had bits of manky adhesive on it, whether that was from manufacture or the packaging, I don't know. It also did not have the hanging loop as pictured (possibly that's a removable thing for retail display?). This is not a good product, and represents extremely poor value. It also arrived slightly squashed, which given that it's flimsy, stiff packaging style plastic rather than anything sturdier or more "boingy" is pretty awful. I'd avoid this one. Edit: OK, I'm warming to this. The materials could be a lot better, but actually, the layout is really useful. I wish it'd been made from more durable material (like those flexible armourer trays) but it is a useful thing to own. Added a couple of stars.

Tech projects dream tool. He says he can stage manage disassembly and not lose screws - happy man!

Piece of plastic that is just used to sort/hold screws and other components. If you are looking for something basic and cheap this is a great complement to any tinkerer's arsenal.

Cómo lo menciona la descripción, es una bandeja para almacenar diferentes piezas electrónicas, así como tornillos los cuáles se pueden organizar muy bien. Sin embargo sería muy útil que tuviera una tapa, ya sea separada de la bandeja y entrara a presión, o como parte de la misma bandeja, esto lo menciono porque si está bandeja se coloca en un lugar donde se pueda caer o voltear por un descuido del usuario, puede provocar un problema al tener desparramado todo lo que se tenía dentro. Pero aún así es de mucha ayuda está bandeja, sobre todo por estar construida de material antiestático, con lo cual puede evitar daños en componentes electrónicos. En cuanto al material que es plástico, este es blando, y dependiendo del uso, se puede romper o maltratar con facilidad. Así pues, el tamaño es adecuado para almacenar bastantes componentes, los compartimientos más amplios, son muy útiles para componentes más grandes, y los compartimientos más pequeños, pueden servir para tornillos y componentes de dispositivos como celulares. En definitiva es un exelente producto, solo los detalles que mencioné anteriormenteo lo harían mucho mejor para los que nos dedicamos a reparaciones electrónicas. Por eso le doy las 5 estrellas.

Not sure what some of the others with flimsy negative reviews have received, but this is a perfect accompaniment for anyone that has hobbies that deal with small or tiny parts. It is not "hard" plastic, but it is ridged, and definitely not flimsy. I have recently starting working on car models again, and this can hold, sort and keep all the small/tiny pieces organized as needed without them rolling around or falling to the floor. Excellent item for the value.

As advertised, helpful for staying organized while repairing electronics and for other DIY-projects.
