An excellent buy
As a new to Warfarin user i have found this little book most helpful. it's easily understood and clear to read. I find the section on vitamin K excellent. I had no idea how many foods contain vitamin k. All very re-assuring to know such help is at hand when the only time i've met up with warfarin is to poison rats.

very helpful and easy to understand
I thought this book was very helpful and easy to understand, with a full list of the food that contains vit k. I have found that a good varied diet keeps me healthy. So overall i think this book is a good buy.

One of the better buys in my life.
Thought I'd wait a while after buying the book to see how things panned out & was it useful.I've been on the warfarin for a year , had to go to a high dose for life when a big blood clot hit my lungs 7 put me in intensive hospital care for nine days .My health carers didn't really say much about the condition other than I had to avoid eating cranberries or drinking the juice and anything with a lot ( what ever that means ) of vitamin K as Vit k is the antidote to the " Rat posion" ( Warfarin ).Wanting to get a handle back on my life so I could still go out for a meal i scanned the search engines for" Living with Warfarin" and this book showed up .... a lucky guess I suppose .When I read the Amazon reviews , at first I was a little swayed by the negative reviewersBut slept on the reviews for a couple of days to let my head work it out fro me whilst I slept . I had a few revisits to the reviews the common sense of the positive reviews mirrored what my head had worked out so i purchased the book.I've had the book for seven months or so now & soon found out that having someone intelligently collate all the right bits of information into one handy light booklet is a real good deal all round with no downsides.I'd have spent such a long time following the hypochondriac's witchcraft ideas & old wives tales that I doubt I'd have been able to accept the blood clots or worked out how to live with them. It's a handy book not only for me but for my wife and kids as they have all read it and know how the land lies for me from now on.I don't have to worry about what I'm eating in our homes as Warfarin has been taken into consideration. The booklet has also been handy in some of the higher level restaurants where knowledgeable chefs and maître d' hotel's are only too happy to take on board what my dietary requirements are rather than present me with their signature dishes that may harm me .I definitely give the book 10 out of 10 and do recommend it to any one who has suffered from blood clots , be they on Warfarin or not.

Warfarin & You
It has a book cover, but the information inside is spread out to fill the few pages it has. It's more like a medical leaflet made to look like a book. Very useful information, but nothing you couldn't find on the internet if you don't want to pay for it.

Warfarin for humans explained with clarity
A most useful introduction to a medication that many people are apprehensive about starting, because of the regular monitoring of blood. I found the sections on foods that are safe to take, and those to be avoided, particularly useful.

Warfarin and you
This small book gave me most of the answers in a clear and understandable way. Because I have just started long term treatment with wafarin I needed to understand what it entailed and and any problems which could arise . I found most of the answers by reading this book and I have it for future reference. It is small enough to carry it with you if this is needed and I recommend it to any one just starting treatment with warfarin.
