Super strong. Great for Protein shakes. Can easily blend it.
Very strong and Durable hand blender. I used it almost daily for Pre-workout for the gym, and when I get home to mix/make my protein Shakes. Even after daily use the battery last over 2 weeks on a single charge. also even after blending protein shakes, it manages to not have a smell. Protein shakes are notorious for making all you bottle and blenders smell nasty, but not this. Ya not the cheapest one out there but clearly the best and most reliable.

Want foam!
Overall a well made product and does the job better than the others. Not just for coffee and milks, but can use for cocktail foams & other drinks Pro- - Sleek - Easy to hold and use, less risk of slipping with the flat sides. - Powerful foaming action, will make foam easily from cold and hot liquids. (that are meant to foam) - Its rechanagble, say that again with me rechargeable. Last weeks used every other day for 3 weeks before I had to charge using 30 sec a day- - Very portable to bring camping or to a weekend getaway. - Easy to clean Cons- - Unitasker Other- - Will not fully replace a milk steamer but will make your milk nicer when its messed up. - Not really going to make latte art foam with this easily. - The protective storage tube over a long time or heavy usage will wear down and become loose. ** Would highly recommend for any foam beverage lover. Makes a great relatively inexpensive gift.

Works, but temper your expectations
Does this compete with a double boiler espresso machine? No. Is this better than the french press method of making foam. Absolutely. I had another countertop frother that died after a couple years use. While this doesn't heat the milk, it does make a reasonable foam (although not exactly microfoam). It is a good middle ground and can be recharged which is a nice feature.

Poorly engineered, fragile shaft, poor customer service
Best performing handheld foamer I’ve used, but also the most fragile. If you drop it, even once, it will break. The shaft is made of metal, but it’s only a few millimeters thick. For some reason it’s attached to the motor with a very narrow shaft. This seems like poor engineering to me and caused it to break after 1 drop. They also don’t stand by their products. They offered a 15% discount from the nanofoamer on their website after I showed that it broke after less than 3 months of ownership from just 1 drop. That discount would make it MORE EXPENSIVE than if I buy it on Amazon today because I get free shipping from Amazon. Also, I paid $10 less for it when it was on sale. So they refuse to give me any discount whatsoever and it’s “unrepairable”. Don’t buy this unless you’re okay with spending $40-$50 +tax for a replacement every time you drop it. It was pretty good while it lasted, but it’s cheaper than it seems and poorly engineered. $5-$10 rechargeable frothers are significantly more durable

After 1 year of daily use: Sturdy, Rechargeable, and Easy to Clean
I ordered this product in January 2023 after my Zulay wire foamer stopped working after less than a year. While waiting for it to arrive, however, I found a tiny screwdriver and took my Zulay apart, and found that the problem was that over time milk had gotten into where the wire rod enters the motor housing, and solidified there, and that was what was stopping the Zulay from working. The other problem with the wire foamers, however, is if the wire rod gets bent even just a little, it dramatically reduces effective power. But with a little cleanup and careful straightening of the rod, I got the Zulay working like new again, just as the Subminimal arrived. Unlike the Zulay or similar, the Subminimal has a thick rod that cannot be easily bent. Also, the propeller and screen of the Subminimal is super easy to keep clean, which is not true of the wire foamers. I like my milk hot, so a certain amount of scalded milk builds up on the coiled wire of the wire foamer (true of all brands, not just Zulay). This doesn't rinse off, so requires occasional soaks and careful scrubbing with a soft toothbrush. To clean the Subminimal I just stick the business end under hot running water and turn it on, then remove the screen and repeat the rinse, then put the screen on and store. For the latte artist, the Subminimal is going to be the preferred tool, and they provide website tutorials on how to get the perfect foam and make those fancy designs. Honestly, I'm about convenience and tasty lattes in the morning. I pour my cold milk into a tall ceramic mug, and heat it in the microwave while I'm making the expresso in an Aeropress. I whisk the milk in the mug and pour the expresso into it, which is opposite from what a barista does. The Zulay wire foamer is FAST. It creates a dense foam of mixed bubble sizes (not ideal for latte art) in about ten seconds. In fact the Zulay is so powerful that it is pretty hard to use in a shallow round cup without making a mess, but it works great in a tall mug. With the Subminimal I get a dense microfoam on top of liquid milk, with less volume overall in the mug. Pros and cons for both. I really hate "disposable" gadgets, so I love the durable quality of the Subminimal. But for early morning ease of use, the Zulay wins. For the absolute best quality foam throughout my mug, I had to use both! The Zulay very quickly created a high volume of mixed bubble size foam, and then the Subminimal churned it creating a high volume microfoam. However... 3 months later the Zulay crapped out again. After a year of daily use, however, the Subminimal is working perfectly. The plastic housing of the screen did break after about 9 months, but replacement screens are pretty cheap on the Subminimal site. The Subminimal isn't as good as a barista's hot steam foamed milk, but it does the trick, is reliable, and quick, and is built to last.

requires a lot of practice, but very powerful
been practicing with hot chocolate to make latte art...haven't quite gotten to the point where i can pour anything yet, but the nanofoamer is very powerful. i have to use the weaker setting, just to not make a mess everywhere, and even then, it doesn't work out as nicely as i'd like. making bubbles is easy...not making bubbles while mixing it together is a problem for me sometimes. it's probably my technique, but sometimes it parts the milk away so powerfully, it exposes the screen, despite being almost to the bottom of the pitcher. again, probably just need more practice. before this, i had 0 milk frothing experience, btw. my foam also seems to float on the top and not get mixed well when i try to pour, although, that may have more to do with my swirling technique after everything settled (and maybe taking too long before starting the swirl), or not incorporating the air bubbles for long enough. although i haven't really gotten it down yet, it does foam up nicely and is very fluffy, like marshmallow. clean up is pretty easy. you can add a little bit of dishsoap to a clean up of water (ideally, wash the inside of your pitcher if you're going to use that) and run it for a little while. use a sponge to wash the shaft and after rinsing it, run it for a few seconds to fling all the water off. no need to submerge anything in water (especially the port) i charged it when i got it, and although i haven't used it every night, it hasn't dropped from full yet. i would've liked to see some sort of cover for the button when you put the cover on. right now the button is exposed after you cover it, and since the cover also holds the other screen, i imagine accidentally pressing the button wouldn't be great. although i still have to get around the learning curve, i enjoy using it.

Great performance, cheap parts/materials
The performance, power, and different screen options for the NanoFoamer are great, and exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the company seemed to have opted to use cheap parts and materials as a cost-cutting measure; after just a few weeks of light daily use, the plastic at the whisk/foaming end, where the screens attach, began to crack and break apart in small pieces, ending up in my drink. I only use this product to make cold foam for cold brew coffee, and I was always careful to wash gently after use and never be too aggressive during the foaming process, nor was he whisk ever exposed or submerged in any hot beverages or sudden, extreme temperature changes that would warrant the cracking and chipping away so quickly. I'd like to think I got a lemon, considering the higher price point of the item, because the performance and power was great, motor seemed strong and capable, and the overall build quality felt sturdy.... unfortunately the manufacturer chose to cut costs in the wrong areas, and this item did not last for a month before deciding to return it for a refund. I hope the company realizes where improvements can be made, and implements them in an updated or newer model, because I enjoyed it while it lasted!

Worked the FIRST TIME!
I'd struggled with getting a normal foamer to create the micro-foam required for latte art. Came across this nano-foamer and ordered it. The first time I tried it, it performed as advertised - I created a fairly good latte art heart THE FIRST TIME! Very satisfying experience.

Reassuringly Expensive!
I couldn’t actually believe I paid more than £50 for what is essentially a scientifically more advanced milk whisk. However I have realised, since it arrived, how it is worth every penny of its premium cost. I have owned many many different milk frothing products in the 15+ years I’ve owned a Nespresso coffee machine and enjoyed making premium quality lattes - from simple electric whisks to auto-frothing heating jugs and aerocinnos, and none of them have foamed milk to the same quality as this excellent little device. I bit the bullet and bought the rechargeable model as it is more powerful than the battery powered version and has 2 speeds, which the battery one doesn’t. It comes with 2 filters - fine and superfine. Both produce fantastically foamy milk, even from skimmed milk, that makes velvety smooth lattes that are way better than any store bought latte I’ve ever had. I prefer the smaller microbubbles produced by the superfine screen, the taste is so smooth and velvety it’s almost beyond belief. As a Yorkshireman, I’m primarily a tea drinker, but since I got my nanofoamer I’ve hardly touched tea at all - which is high praise for this device indeed. Shares in Yorkshire Tea will plunge as a result!!! I drink hot chocolate at night to limit my caffeine intake, and this too has been majorly improved by nanofoamed milk. The yum factor is off the scale!!! It’s easy to use, easy to clean and the battery lasts a good long while. I haven’t regretted buying this premium device once since I first used it, as the quality beverage it helps create is beyond anything I’ve previously had. It’s pricey but, by heck, it’s worth every penny! If I could afford it, I’d buy one of these for each of my family and friends so they too could experience the joyous beverage it produces. As I can’t, they’ll just have to settle for enjoying it when they visit… and they’ll doubtless visit more often once they taste my marvellous nanofoamed coffees! Definite two thumbs up for the nanofoamer, a 5 star device if ever there was one.

If you want truly smooth and creamy milk, this is it
This is really amazing, I bought the V2 and it’s not good at all. Anyone is considering, they should go with the Lithium. Even the texture of the milk is so good and creamy, almost cafe quality. Very happy with the purchase.
