I initially experienced ssd and usb disconnects on a new imac m4 with this uni. Previous reports in reviews made me a little concerned. Visiting the OEM website I discovered a firmware update to resolve this. That has stabilized the unit and I am happy about that because its nicely built, fits the stand perfectly and looks great. Do yourself a favor and visit the support section of the website FAQ. It would be ideal to know this in advance.

I was a bit weary of this product because the price point seemed quite high! “BUT” price point was well worth it. Build quality was much better than I was expecting its built very nice 👍 the color match was perfect and it fits like a glove, engendered very well. I was scared the color would be slightly off but you would think it came with the computer it’s that good. And plug and play no sill downloads the computer accepts it first time. Connectivity no problems I plugged the keyboard in to give it a charge was very stable didn’t get hot just did the job so for stability can’t complain. So the comparability is second to none which was my main concern and the color is spot on what more can I ask for so it deserves five stars In my eyes.

Works great, the fit and finish are spot on. Looks like an Apple product. I'd buy it again.

Fit and color is perfectly matched to my Apple iMac M4 24". My 12 year old HP Laserjet P1102w printer works nicely, USB-connected not wireless. My Brother scanner, ADS-1200, USB-connected works flawlessly. The remaining USB port in the hub works with my thumb drive. If this unit continues to perform as advertised, as it now does, then it is worth the price. Plus . . . there's an ergonomic benefit, to avoid "text-neck" from looking down at a screen for hours. The hub raises the iMac screen by 1/4" to 3/8", which puts the top readable line of the screen at the proper height of my eye level.

The hub fits perfectly on the computer stand and all the added inport were a big plus. It’s a bit pricey but the quality, stability and ease of use compensate the price.
