Mofun Engineering Skid Plate Compatible with 2008-2019 Kawasaki KLR 650

It’s made of nice probably 3/8 thick 🤷🏼‍♂️ plate could be 1/4 I didn’t measure but it’s plenty beefy also seems like it will protect a lot more of the bottom as well as the water pump housing and stator case were the pickup coil sticks out that are not properly protected by the stock skid plate. it’s definitely a copy of someone’s design can’t remember the original brand but this one has nice slotted holes unlike the other Chinese skid plates that people have been having to drill out to fit for sale on here so you can get it fit correctly without modifying it. The welds on the outside are nice for it being 100$ but they did not weld the inside they just put tacks I don’t think this will make it too weak but it would be nice if it was welded front and back. All and all a good buy for the price also make sure you use the stock bolts for the rear bottom holes the ones it comes with are far to short but they will work with the provided nuts for the top two bolts.
