I know it was a kid full leg size, however, according to the measurements, it was actually perfect as a half leg protector for a slim long legged adult female as well. I tried after Limbo protector's water accident (shower water came in to both Limbo half adult leg regular size and even Limbo slim size for UK 10) although it was NHS recommendation, however, this protector was the life saving! The material reminds me of a swimming cap and it was very soft, flexible, non-slip and waterproof. I remembered that my hair has got steamed inside of a swimming cap with own sweat steam before, so I wrapped my synth cast by a towel and then covered with this protector, so no holes by sharp edges even after a month of use and it was also very comfy as the towel kept inside dry. Also, when I raised and rested the cast on the bathtub edge, it was non slip like a yoga mat and cushioned by the towel, so it was very comfy and lying down in a bathtub and taking bath or shower relaxing was possible when I felt my ankle fracture got swollen to sit on a shower stool... less pain and less risk of blood clots by the raising. With this relaxing idea, my bones healed quicker than GP's estimation. I thank for this great product and I appreciated for detailed measurements of actual diameter and length in the listing that was very helpful. Absolutely amazing product! Relaxing bath time promoted good sleep and quick healing in my case.

This is a great product for plaster cast or bandages on leg wounds,you can get the same product for your arm.

My son broke his leg at school. He had a lower leg cast on for 4 months. We got this so we could take him swimming and aid his recovery. It is a genius idea. Completely seal the leg including the leg cast and allowed my son to go in the swimming pool without getting his cast wet at all. Make sure you follow instructions or look up videos on how to out it on, stretch it all the up to the thigh area and it is completely waterproof and watertight. Really helped my son with his recovery as he was able to do non impact exercise that sped up his recovery. I highly recommend this.

My 9 year old boy broke his left wrist & right ankle. Needed a half length cast on his wrist & full length on the ankle. He's a very tall, muscular kid, so almost went for the next size up, but his dimensions were right for up to 9 years. Wrist BLOCCS worked immaculately; ankle would let some water in if he spent a long time in the pool & got really active in it. Totally solved it with a single wrap of vet wrap (stuff that only sticks to itself) & one layer of duck tape on the outside of that. Worked like a dream after that. Boy couldn't help stuffing them on concrete at the pool & they withstood all that. He moaned about the leg cast getting sweaty in hot baths, but to be expected.

Firstly, if you need these, sorry and hope you get better soon! We bought two to cover double leg casts. They go on like bags and the tighter top fixes around the thigh. It meant that bathtime was possible and made a huge difference. Easy to get on and off, and keeps water off the casts. Just the job, although a shame to see kids sizes more expensive than the adult sizes.

Keeps the sound dry . Just need to get very careful as it’s extremely slippery.

What a lifesaver! My 2 year old granddaughter broke her leg a week before our holiday and was told she was not to swim. The hospital recommended a cover for the bath which we tried before we went and we ordered this one to go underneath so she would be doubly protected in the pool. The other one let water in and her cast would have been soaking if we had not had this underneath. It has proven to be 100 per cent waterproof, a bit fiddly to get the air out but so worh it. She has swam all week in the pool and not one drop as leaked through

Amazing invention! My daughter has a leg cast and wrapping garbage bags with tape did not help in the shower. Water still manage to seep through. I googled this product and found it on Amazon! I followed the measurements exactly and it fits perfectly. What is best is , amazon delivered the next day when I urgently needed it. A lifesaver! I highly recommend this if you have a leg cast. My daughter is 10 years old but I took the medium size for 4-9. The age isn’t accurate. The measurements are more accurate depending on your cast size.

Perfect fit for my 11 yo boy broken leg

Après avoir été très suspicieuse quant à l’étanchéité de ce protège plâtre, je suis ébahie de son efficacité. C’est totalement sec en dessous. Si on respecte les consignes de le replier à la moitié avant de l’enfiler, c’est relativement facile à mettre. Ça ne fait pas garrot mais c’est étanche! Il faut bien vider l’air comme on peut sinon ça flotte, mais ce n’est pas trop gênant. J’ai mis une chaussette large sur la résine pour éviter qu’elle ne risque d’abîmer et trouer le protège plâtre et ça facilite l’enfilage et pour l’enlever. C’est malgré tout assez résistant, à voir dans le temps et à l’usage. Concernant la taille, j’avais beaucoup hésité à prendre la plus petite, mais je ne regrette pas du tout d’avoir pris la taille M. Il faut surtout vérifier la circonférence de la jambe au dessus du plâtre et la taille M va parfaitement à mon fils de 5 ans, même si la longueur paraissait un peu longue par rapport aux mesures préconisée. Prendre plus petit aurait risqué d’être trop serré (donc prendre selon l’âge préconisé doit aller la plupart du temps, en vérifiant bien que le protège plâtre est plus long que la valeur mesurée sur la jambe dans la longueur, mais il doit être dans les valeurs recommandées pour la circonférence de la jambe au dessus du plâtre sinon il risque de ne pas être étanche ou d’être trop serré). Mais en tout cas ça nous a sauvé les vacances et mon fils a retrouvé le sourire après la frustration initiale de ne pas pouvoir se baigner. Ça simplifie également la prise de la douche. Je ne regrette pas du tout cet achat! Concernant la résistance, c’est à voir à l’usage car on ne la utilisé que deux jours. Faire attention à mon avis aux ongles et aux bords des plâtres en résine un peu tranchants.
