40 degree drop! YES PLEASE!
I ordered this to replace a factory cooler on an HP Omen (desktop). After trying out a few others that didn't fit, I ordered this one. I started running a local AI (One that is offline and runs on my system.) Before this, I was hitting 90+ C for temps at 100% usage. After replacing the cooler, and adding a couple other case fans, I am now seeing very low 50C temps on the CPU! Yes, a 40+ degree drop! As for the noise level, I hardly ever notice it even running and my system only sits like 6 feet away from me. My only complaint is that it didn't offer an RGB fan when I ordered (July 2024), but that's very minor. Over all, well worth the money ($40) spent! Does its job VERY well!

S300 ITX case fits but only one direction
Great. Put in a S-300 ITX case. Motherboard was rog 650ei with amd 7900x and SP ram value gaming and 5070 PNY 3 fan. This ram was low profile and a little less than 33MM. Fit perfectly with a 1MM or 2MM space, good enough. Could only install with the cooler over the ram and not with the cooler over the motherboard inputs, one direction. It worked and keeps the CPU cool.

Good option for mini itx
A lot better than my Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 chromax.Black Actually keeps the cpu low at 55°C and highs at 75°~80°C. Even quieter too. Bracket uses original Amd mount so be aware to keep it around.

Great performance, Mounting components need a little better finishing.
I have this in a sg13bq. Running a ryzen 5900x at 60w 45A TDC 65A EDC. It is able to keep it at 65C in 27C ambient. Cinebench scores around 14000. Asrock b550m itx/ac motherboard is compatible with vrm heatsink height. I have corsair vengence 32gb. It did not fit with my memory so I flipped it so it was over my vrm heatsink. The only way this would fit on the memory side is with memory without a heat sink. Wraith stealth was running 50W at 65C where I had 65C thermal limiting the performance. It was hitting cinebench scores of 7800. The configuration I have with this case sg13bq, is intake 120mm, I am using p12 slim from arctic reversed and exhausting air into the psu. my psu is facing downward towards the cooler. If you want to use another slim 15mm fan like noctua or arctic, you need to get another screw set. I am using "Hillman 3-mm 0.5 x 20-mm Phillips-Drive Machine Screws" Item #755504 Model #127111 and I am using "Hillman 3-mm x 0.5 Zinc-plated Steel Hex Nut " Item #755591 Model #127081 as a spacer or Danco 10-Pack 1/2 Rubber Washer Model #88569 would do. I purchased from Lowes. Any taller than 20mm, and it will not fit in the sg13. The original screw set for 15mm fan is too short by 2mm. Its because the fan they provide has screw holes that are shorter than the standard 15mm fan. The good thing though, is the 25mm fan mounting set is compatible with 25mm fans. It was able to mount my actic P12 120mm and my arctic F12 120mm no problem. If it doesnt work for you, then just get a taller screw set. They are standard 3mm diameter x .5 thread pitch screws. I would assume 3mx.5x28mm or 3mx.5x30mm should work and use nuts as spacers if needed. The fan they provided is sufficent in performance, but louder than any other slim fan I have used. Quieter than the wraith stealth though. Wraith stealth had an annoying ticking sound. Also, the fan they provide has a bit of turbulance, even with the rubber insulation. Mounting system was similar to noctua. If you know how to mount noctua, it will be the same experience. I am iffy on the mounting quality compared to noctua. Noctua is top notch in quality. I didn't feel too refined to me. I feel like it was just off the line and stuck in the box. But only time will tell how well it stands up. Heatsink quality is really good. Nice finish, and very performant. If you need 57mm low height, pick this. Nothing beats it for the size except water cooling.

10/10
Used this in a stealth build and let me just say - it's been perfect. CPU temperatures stay cool - using a i7-13700KF and it's been smooth sailing. The stock fan is great but I ended up swapping it for a Noctua fan, not needed of course. Mounting this thing was not that difficult either, it took a few tries but once I got it we were good to go. It's super small and clears my ram perfectly well. Good on ID Cooling :)

You can’t beat the price for performance on this low profile cpu cooler!
Got this to cool my 7800x3d in my Fractal Terra case to pair it with my 4090fe. What a beast of a cpu for its size and you can’t beat it for $40. The fan does get pretty audible at max rpm’s (granted, the way my fractal Terra is configured, it has the is55 pushed up against the panel), but rarely does it hit those speeds. I wanted to try and swap out the fan for an arctic p12 slim and scythe kaze slim 120, but the former didn’t fit because the screws that came with the installation kit isn’t long enough and the latter gave out this unpleasant noise profile. Nevertheless, even at my 7800x3d stock settings, the is55 is able to cool it with my bios’ standard fan curve settings, without throttling, and WZ3 gaming at 4k/144hz, it never went above 75c. I adjusted my pbo to -20 for all cores and set it to 65w eco mode and it brought the temps down to 60c. So either way, is55 is able to hold its own. The is55 was super easy to install too! AM5 socket install was a breeze and I was even able to secure everything without having to unscrew the fan off.

Works great and it's quiet.
Running my Ultra 7 265K at 85-90% load in a cheap case with only aux fan that came with the case, the temps got up to about 80 degrees C with hte fan not making too much noise. as soon as the job finish, the CPU went back down to normal in a minute or two. Excellent cooler, fantastic value. I'm not sure what it could do with an overclocked chip.

Worth it
This cooler is great, I never thermal throttle is any game since installing. Dropped temps 30°c 👍

performs very well on R5 4500 am4 65w, even with back gpu so close as on riser so worst case and a smaller type itx case the cooler quite, keeps temps under control, normal use 35-41c and benchmarks 60-65c and even that in a hot room and full fan power i do not think i can hear it but i have other room fans. the build of it seems good, fairly easy to install, one a load reduces like end benchmark temps very fast return to norm, the only thing id say price, if the id 67 is around £40 i do feel this should be a little cheaper but im still very happy with it, think i paid £38, so impressed with it my old system getting new case and height limited ive gone and got the id 67mm not used it yet but one extra heat pipe i got it for £30 new but opened and that inc postage but normally they around £40 so in future i may review id 67, but id 55 used for 3 months now i think and so far very happy with it performance but id say 65w cpu is prob highest id go but i like my cpu at no more than mid 60's c so if you happy with higher temps go ahead, a great cooler for itx build

Switched to this in a Lian Li A4-H2O case after my AIO pump died. It's able to cool around 100 watts at 85 degrees Celsius (I do have 2 exhaust fans in the case though). Fan noise is not bad at all.

Received this product with the amd bracket missing from the packing. The screws were also not in plastic pouches. It looks like this is a used product with missing components. Absolutely unacceptable. And to discover this while assembling my PC is really frustrating.
