What types of batteries can the Blue Smart IP65 Charger work with?

Blue Smart IP65 charges any starter/leisure battery: LiFePO4, lead-acid, AGM, gel, flooded. In VictronConnect, choose 1 of 8 charge presets or build a custom profile. Ideal for automotive, marine, and motorhome use.

How does reviving dead batteries work?

On connection, the Blue Smart Charger runs a quick battery test. If it detects a fully discharged battery, it can revive it from 0V by applying low current until voltage is high enough for normal charging. Ideal for seasonal or long-stored equipment.

How do I choose the right charger for my battery?

Check battery label for voltage (12V/24V), Ah, and max charge rate (A or C-rate). Choose a charger that matches voltage and stays within that limit. If C-rate is given, max amps = C×Ah (100Ah at 0.3C=30A). Low-current mode helps small batteries.

What is the difference between 7-stage charging and regular charging?

Blue Smart IP65 uses 7-stage charging (test, bulk, absorption, float, refresh, recondition, storage) vs typical 2-3 stages. It optimizes each phase for faster, fuller charging and up to 15% longer battery life, auto switching fast/slow.
