Effective / Loud / Ideal for 200 person venue.
I used these to host a large open-mic event where these were driven from an Behringer XR18 / Midas MR18. I drove them hard without additional active sub-bass cabs and was delighted with the bass response. Getting the right input signal level takes some effort and out of the box the output level can appear low [out of the box the gain and need initially configuring to your needs]. I used these with 15 inch active subs and they were more than adequate for the 250 person venue. I believe the sweet spot for these speakers is around 300 people. This comes down to getting to know the kit and its EQ app and levels etc. etc. and (of course)v reading the manual. If you pair these with some active subs (I have Behringer VPQ1500D) the sound produced can easily be uncomfortably loud indicating that when your TS415s are not trying to push the lower frequencies and are shelved correctly they can produce a crisp (clean) but muscular soundscape (supported bass). This us another case of read the flippin' manual to get this right (especially around signal routing). If you're looking to host a Drum and Bass band using just TS415 s on their own you'll be on to a loser but as part of a balanced active soundscape they certainly deliver the mid and top end. The bluetooth paring and play back is really handy during stand up and intervals but like everything with these active speakers will require you to *ACTUALLY* read the manual (especially if you want to pair the speakers to eachother and then pair your phone to the paired speakers). If you need an entry level digital sound processing active speaker product these are ideal and I would hazard a guess they push out about 120 dBa at 1M (at a push 125? - I'd like to get an accurate meter them to confirm) as opposed to the advertised 132 continuous and 135 peak. These are not an alternative to some of the higher end brands but will be ideal if you are looking to transition from bargain basement analogue into cheaper / mid-range digital sound processing kit and as a stepping stone to something higher quality. Recommended for gigging bands, open mics, solo shows in small, and medium venues up to around 250 people. My entire rig including subs fits in the back of a station-wagon / estate car.

Take them seriously… they punch way above their price and weight!
These speakers punch way above their weight and compete with much more expensive models, like RCF & Yamaha, yes they don’t carry the name, and yes they are manufactured in China, however, do your research on YouTube as there are plenty of non bias reviews demonstrating their build quality who have taken them apart to assess. They also come with drivers that are found in much more expensive speakers. Again, research it. I’ve been running two of these now for a while on DJ mode (which extends the bass) at nearly max volume and they have not missed a beat, no distortion, they are a superb product which offer serious bang for buck. Alto really did nail this range. For context I also own two TS18s and they are also absolute monsters that hammer more expensive competitors. Again, do your research. Some people will slam this brand, and laugh at these even being taken seriously…. Until they hear them and A/B test them. For a 15” loudspeaker, the way these hit the lows is incredible really.

Amazing Speaker and even better with these settings :) try it
These speakers are unbelievable out of the box, top quality, I have been in to sound/djing and producing and can honestly say these are amazing. I got the Ts415 and boy do they pack a punch. Now if you want to get a sweeter Sound check these Eq settings out. They really give extra warmth to the sound that these can produce. Select (1) Gain +6 Center frequency 50hz Q Value 0.3 Select (2) Gain +3 Center frequency 100hz Q Value 0.3 Select (3) Gain +3 Center frequency roughly 2500 Q value 0.3 Select (4) Gain +3 Center frequency roughly 5000 Q value 0.3 Select (5) Gain +3 Center frequency roughly 10000 Q value 0.3 Select (6) Gain +3 Center frequency roughly 15000 Q value 0.3 After making all of these changes hit save and store it as a custom preset. (QSC or what ever you want to call the setting) Then press "LOAD TO SPEAKER" Your custom preset will now be these settings. This custom preset works for the TS408, 10, 12 and 15. Enjoy!

Outstanding Speakers
Outstanding speakers at an affordable price. The sound quality from these speakers is excellent. They are very loud with a good amount of bass. They are well built. You can have 2 lines or 2 microphones going into the speaker. I haven't needed to run the speakers on full as they are loud enough with the volume set to half way. The sound fills the room. I like the Alto brand and will definitely be buying an Alto Subwoofer in the future.

Very impressive
Whats not to like in a speaker sounding this good at this price?! I've had audiophile standard equipment most my life up until about a decade ago. Rel, Arcam, Monitor Audio, Rainbow e.t.c. So I think I know a good sound when I hear one. I missed that full, engaging sound having been using just a small JBL bluetooth speaker, and a QTX 12" busking PA since then, so I decided to give this Alto 10 a go having heard other similar ones including the Alto 12's, Mackie Thump 12's and 15's. I wanted something I could use not only as a bluetooth device on my phone, laptop and TV, but also for my Karaoke set up. I was actually only after the 8" version of the Alto due to space, but the price is so similar I went for the 10". Genuinely impressed! This Alto is brilliant. Hard to believe how good the low end is while still retaining mid clarity. Obviously its no audiophile standard, but for just ONE speaker that I can use in all the applications I wanted its superb. It gives "nightclub" levels of feeling in the small space I'm using it. Absolute bargain price for this level of sound (and I dont mean volume, but it is LOUD too). There's no point mentioning how it compares to my QTX 12" PA speaker because it simply doesnt. The only negatives I can find with it are the bluetooth is laggy, which doesnt matter if you're just playing music but if you intend it to be synched with visuals like a tv or karaoke lyrics it would need to be wired (which is how I'll use it for those two anyway). I've not tried it with my karaoke set up yet (as Im waiting for the neighbours to go out!) but I cant wait for that! Also when pairing the voice telling you its pairing comes in at max volume which is a bit silly. Neither of the above are a problem as such, just giving my honest opinion on this fantastic speaker. Despite the reviews on the Appstore, I find the phone app for controlling it really good too. I cant see how anyone could be disappointed with this speaker at this price. If you're considering something like this all I can say is buy one. Brilliant.

Poor out put
The 2500W sounds like 200w Sony I have 1700w Panasonic scua7 that sounds like a B2 bomber heavy on bass and production . This TS FAILED ME

Good Value and Great Bass
I have owned these for about a year and they have worked well for me - although they mainly stay in the recording studio for the times that artists want to hear themselves at high volumes. The bass end is very impressive for the size of speaker. For one reggae session we ran the bass guitar through them and they sounded as good as the Ampeg setup that I used to use. The weak spot of these, and other Alto speakers that I've used, is in the high end. They have plenty of clarity but the high end is somewhat weird and very different to other speakers. They make real cymbals sound electronic. One reason I bought them was that Alto speakers are fairly ubiquitous with local singers who use backing tracks that I mix so I can check my mixes on them. The other slight annoyance is with Bluetooth where it doesn't seem to be possible to use different devices to set them up and play music. I can set them up from my phone but then have to disconnect if I want to play music from another device so I can't adjust the sound while playing music from another Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth beeps are also annoying - it isn't possible to adjust their level. On balance I would say they are a good buy but it is worth spending more if you can afford it.

Awesome bottom end! Excellent value!
Only used once, the low end is great! I feel that they are a little bright, but that can be fixed with a little eqing. The app could use some work. They give you a parametric EQ, but it’s not fun to play with. Also the input feels attenuated and I have to punch it about +5dB out of a +4dBu balanced output to get a comfortable loud with the channel turned all the way up. I’m sure they do this anticipating the users to abuse the speaker, but it’s worth noting; you might need a way to boost your output. Over all, the best bang for your buck, you won’t need to take a sub in many situations with these, which can change your game. Also, they consume 1100 watts at peak so make sure you draw from different circuits.

Great crowd pleaser in the right environment
this speaker is a jack of all trades - it's got bluetooth, multiple connectors that support both TRS and XLR, and more. The build quality is pretty solid as well, no rattling, etc. Sound quality is great for a PA speaker, high and mid-end are super crisp. Low-end could be better, but that's the limitation of a 12" driver. Make sure that it's right for you though, as with everything audio-related, the room in which you're using the speaker matters just as much as the speaker itself. In a living room sized environment, the alto performs great, the sound quality, projection, acoustics, etc. are all excellent. Anything bigger, and you'll probably need to get an additional subwoofer, as its fairly lacking in lower frequencies.
