FOREO ISSA play Sonic Electric Toothbrush, Wild Strawberry

I have wanted one of these toothbrushes for a while now. I use the facial brush and I just love that. I was using one of the Philips sonic toothbrushes that I’ve had for years but I’ve tried all of the replacement heads and all of them make my gums really sore. I find them just too hard for me. so when I saw this toothbrush with its silicon head or hybrid head I was intrigued. Didn’t want to splash out £150 before trying it so this little brush is a great way to try the product without spending a lot of money. I do think the product is a little expensive and maybe it could be around 30 mark. Feels nice and soft to hold the vibrate isn’t too intense super soft Head great for sensitive teeth and gums my teeth feel super clean after I’ve used it and the brush it’s self is so easy to keep clean. I found it very easy to use and easy to open.

this toothbrush is a total gimmick!! i typically have used philips or oral b electric toothbrushes, and could feel that this did not leave my teeth feeling clean. The result feels the same as just putting toothpaste on your finger and brushing with that. At my regular dentist appointment, the dentist also confirmed that there was residue that should normally be removed by a regular toothbrush on my teeth. gross! i ended up buying a regular manual toothbrush to replace it, and then an expensive philips sonicare a couple months later. at any price, this is a joke - better to have a cheap non-electric toothbrush. but to think what they sell this (and especially the rechargeable version!) for - it's robbery! don't throw your money away! Amazon was absolutely excellent though and let me return it even after using it. Thanks Amazon!

Not sure what happened but this toothbrush has a mechanism to change the batteries that you press in at the base and pull out. Initially I thought the batteries had gone or the switch had damaged. Mine would not release and looking at it appeared as if it had sheared off on one side leaving the other side still hooked in position. Some gentle movement and pressure revealed that the one side had something like glue sticking the bit that had sheared off. This surprised me as by all accounts this model allowed you to replace the batteries. I'm now looking to repair this in some way as it's a decent toothbrush and I don't want to throw out something I've only used for a week.

Great toothbrush. It’s smaller then a standard electric toothbrush. Easy to use. No need to charge it like other electric toothbrushes. It is weird at first as the brush is made of silicon so it’s not nylon like normal toothbrush head. You can’t replace the head on this model. Once you have used it a few times you mouth adjusts to it. It is amazing. Really improves your gum health. My dentist was impressed with how much better by gums are since using this brush. Highly recommend this product.

Toothbrush was bought for someone with sensory issues who struggles with bristles. It seemed like a good idea. It worked for all of 2 days and then the button no longer worked to turn it on. I contacted the company for a replacement or refund and they wouldn’t give me either. They said the brush was an “entry” level brush and not eligible for either. I had to go through amazon for a refund as I expected a product to be more use than 2 days. The company was useless and helpless and therefore I would never even consider buy one of their brushes every again. Has they been helpful and we could have tested and used it properly, then I would have been happy to promote within the sensory community, but £40 for a toothbrush to work for all of 2 days and then expect a customer to just suck it up is ridicuolous. I am sure that the idea of the product would be great, but I shouldn’t have to pay a silly amount for one of their “better” brushes to get good customer services. If this can happen with their product I doubt paying more would have resulted in a product working better as the componets are for the most part the same. Never again using this company.

I brought this brush in Jan it worked for 1 week and then even the slightest pressure and it would stop so I requested an exchange the 2nd one worked for about 10 days then just stopped working mid brush. The other problem is that you cannot change the brush head which I hadn't realize when I purchased it. I am really sad that I've had these problems because it was a really effective brush and left my teeth and gums feeling great.

Before I go into the review, I would like to tell you how to easily get into the packaging without the use of scissors and without almost losing a finger. Simply peel off the label across the top end and the package should pop right open. I have only been using this toothbrush for a day but it already makes my teeth feel cleaner than with my Oral B. Once this one needs replacing, I will certainly be making the investment in the rechargeable version with replacement heads.

I never write reviews for a product even if it's a product I like but, I have to say for this product is worth it. I recently have been using this toothbrush but not for very long though. But, I have to say I do love this toothbrush the best part of this toothbrush is that it doesn't hurt my teeth or gums at all when I brush even if I brush hard it doesn't hurt me at all. I also noticed that it takes the food leftover from my teeth so I feel that my teeth are smooth and clean.The other good parts about this toothbrush is that its small enough that if I wanted to I can put it in my purse and take it with me and use it whenever I go out after I've eating somewhere, since it doesn't have a rechargable wire and it runs on 2AAA batteries that I don't have to replace until a couple of months or so..(at least that's what I've read from others). I would recommend this toothbrush to anyone who is like me who wants a electric tooth brush that's travel friendly and that has senstive gums and teeth this product is for you.

The battery ran out in about 3 months of use. The toothbrush could not be used when replacing the battery with a new one.
