Well, this is the hidden cost of having an ear irrigation kit. I had hip replacement surgery http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QFXCMB6 and I somehow came to enjoy the arranged marriage of swimming and rehab. I wasn't wild about having some unknown kid urine content swirling in and out of various orifices, so I used earplugs. They worked great and I always sprayed rubbing alcohol on my earplugs after each swim. Before too long I noticed that my ear felt 'stuffy' and ultimately went to my doctors office. He irrigated my ear and a small thimble full of earwax was dislodged. Given the cost of the office visit and ear irrigation procedure, I decided to buy an ear irrigation system, which, finally, led me to these replacement tips. They do what they are suppose to do, but it is a hidden cost of the ear irrigation system. Having said that, it is way cheaper, and more convenient that a repeat trip to see my doctor.

Works as described with the Elephant Ear Washer Bottle System Kit by Doctor Easy. Fits similar to an IV connector. The Rhino Ear Washer is very well made. I believe my Doctor used a warm water/peroxide mixture for the spray bottle. That did not come included, but will find this out at my next Doctor's appointment. Great ear wax removal system.

Based on my doctor's recommendation, I use this after a couple days of putting in those Debrox drops into my ears. It's definitely sort of fun to see the disgusting ear wax come out. I couldn't quite give it five stars because the package of tips cost $16, but in the end it's worth the money. I will say that it's best to be careful about how far you insert these into your ears. Some people may not want to go all the way in. Be gentle and remember that it should not feel painful. The water should feel like a light pressure inside your ear. Don't try to get a stronger jet or try to poke around; just be patient. Also, make sure to use water that's at your body temperature. Cold water can have some odd effects.

We use these in the medical office where I work. Always comfortable for the patients whose ears are being cleaned out!

My son has had ear infections and wax buildup off and on since he was a little boy. The last time I took him to the doctor to have his ears cleaned out they used this same product! Of course, they charged a lot of money just to do what this product and my son could do for himself. It's so easy to use and easy to clean. He's used it multiple times, and we've saved a small fortune!

I bought these to have extra on hand for the kit I ordered. I wasn't really all that satisfied with the results of the kit so this product was a waste of money for me.
