This CPU heat sink is a bit daunting at first glance. When you pull it from the packaging, and see the amount of nuts, screws, bolts and plates that it comes with, it's gives you a notion that this is going to be a big task to assemble. However, if you know your socket type and identify the parts that are attributed to that socket, installation is rather easy. It took me 15mins to install on an AM3+ board.In terms of operation, Be Quiet! have great products and this is no exception. The heat sink is classy and well-made. The fan is large, yet quiet and efficient in performance. There is little to no movement on the board itself, and no vibration felt through the case. Overall, I am very happy with it.

I use this with a Ryzen 3700x on a Gigabyte Auros Elite B450 board.Installation was fairly easy although a little fiddly. Instructions weren’t amazing but got the job done. You get fixings for both intel and AMD in the box which is nice.The fan when operating is not overly noisy. I’ve not much to compare it to however but I can’t hear it when I’m gaming albeit I do wear a headset.I use this I as part of a push/pull setup with the pull being the exhaust fan at the rear of the case. Temps on the 3600x sit in the 60 - 70 degree range and that’s with the stock thermal past and a case which has really bad airflow, not enough fans and which sits in the sun a bit too often (why haven’t I moved it!?). I was initially concerned that this fan wouldn’t be enough for the Ryzen but I couldn’t be happier with it. With a few extra case fans, better thermal paste and some better room positioning it should work even more betterer.Be aware though that this fan is tall. You’ll want a fatter case to fit it all in as I have had to bend my case around the fan to fit it so measure you’re space up before you buy this.I’m very happy with the cooler overall. I was back and forth about going to AIO cooling but the risk of leaking, the extra cost and the extra noise didn’t sell it over air cooling.I highly recommend this or the Dark Rock version if you want that stealthy look. If you want a bit more cooling (and spend a little more) then try the dark rock pro 4. But be aware, that one is HUGE!!

I bought this because I was having problems with my Evo 212 and was in a hurry to finish my build. It works amazing and the install wasn't too bad. Using it with a R5 1600X and the noise isn't too loud and it keeps it cool, which is the most important thing. The only thing I wish was better was the noise level, but that could just be me, it may not bother other people and the size of the cooler too. It may be called the "slim" but it certainly isn't, although luckily mine did fit in my case without any problems.

Great price value ratio. It is not as huge as it might seem. Most of the DRAM slots won't be crossed. The only issue one might have is installing it, but only if you are totally new to hardware installing. Other than that it takes not even 15 minutes to assemble things. For AMD mainboard users: Don't be surprised, but the airflow will be vertical (taking the air from down to the upside) rather than horizontal (taking the air from the right of your case to the left, back). That might be the only critique, but it doesn't actually matter if you have an opening (for installation of top fans) at the top of your case. If you don't it might mess up the airflow in the whole case. This again is no critique at all. It is just the built. Quality is as usual with bequiet!: Simply superb! Very well built, enough assembly tools, good instructions and silent as it should be.

I was after I alternative solution to water cooling. Still having the pc be relatively quietSo after doing plenty of research I narrowed it down to go for the Be Quiet Shadow Rock SlimThe Item is a Large but I was aware of this before buying and I chose the slim to match sure ram clearance was good.It comes with a large 135mm fan. It is very effective and quiet as for what I wanted.The fitting was a bit of a pain as I as fitting it to a preview built pc. (highly recommended buying it at the beginning)I had to remove the motherboard from the Case a NZXT H440 as the mounting hole in the mounting plate didnt give access to the holes need for the cpu mounting screws.It fits into the case no problem with room to spare and no ram issues. The Temps have dropped by atleast 5c at idle and at load.It your after a silent and powerful cpu cooler this one to look at. It is definitely a Rival to the Cooler master 212 evo.

This cooler is very quiet and has taken 12 degrees centigrade off the running temperatue of my A8-7600 APU.It would have scored 5 points but, and it could be a big but, there is only one orientation of the cooler which means it sits with its longest dimension across the motherboard and in the case of my Asus A88XM-Plus motherboard it blocks 2 of the 4 Ram slots.There is no way to change the orientation of the cooler.Be Quiet! are themselves quiet on their website as to motherboard compatibility. If you're thinking of buying it measure 7centimetres or 70mm from the centre of your CPU cooler in the direction of your Ram Slots. Any Ram Memory slots under that measurement will most likely become defunct.If the Standard cooler mounting on your motherboard has its longest length parallel to the Ram Slots on your motherboard it would be best to measure irrespective of what make of FM2+ motherboard you have.I've still given it 3 stars as it's a very good cooler. The packaging, instructions, together with build quality are excellent and delivery was quick.

Négatif: Je ne peux pas utiliser le CPU COOLER car il manque pratiquement toute la quincaillerie requise pour l'installer, tout ce que j'ai reçu est encerclé en bleu dans l'image représentant la quincaillerie qui aurait du être présente. Je comprends que c'est un warehouse deal de amazon, mais la mention indiquait: "Item will come repackaged. Small cosmetic imperfection on top, front or sides of item. Small cosmetic imperfection on bottom or back of item. Small cosmetic imperfections on the corner of the item. Accessories may have cosmetic damage." On voit bien le "cosmetic damage" qui selon moi est un peu plus qu'esthétique mais bon... Il aurait du y avoir tout les accessoires. Bref, je demanderai un remboursement malheureusement parce que le cpu cooler en tant que tel a l'air de très bonne qualité

J'ai hésité mais je ne regrette pas, pour ma nouvelle config contenant un i7 10700 j'avais décidé d'utiliser le ventirad d'origine. Mais après un un mois d'utilisation je ne supportais plus son bruit en charge...alors je me suis tourné vers un meilleur ventirad pouvant se glisser à côté de mes 4 barrettes mémoire.Montage:Facile ! Faut juste regarder le tuto-vidéo de pose et la notice et ça roule tout seul. Faut compter 15-30 min le temps de sortir le pc du bureau, le poser sur la table du salon, chercher son tournevis, boire un café, enlever l'ancien ventirad et sa vieille pâte thermique (essui-tout), remettre la nouvelle qui est fournie avec le ventirad (j'ai mis en 5 points)...revisser le nouveau...passer un petit coup d'aspirateur dans la pièce avant de tout repositionner...Il se glisse sans difficulté à côté de mes 4 barrettes mémoires ! Un très bon point ! Bon tout est un peu collé-serré mais ça passe !Efficacite:En charge j'ai perdu 10-15°, je suis passé de 75-78° en pleine charge au max dans les jeux videos à 60-64°Au repos j'ai perdu environ 15-20°, en moyenne je passe de 55° à 35°Bruit:Et bien j'ai l'impression d'avoir perdu 80 décibels c'est pour dire comment je le trouve efficace ! Même en charge il sait rester discret !!A acheter les yeux fermées même si cette technique n'est pas la plus pratique...

Used for an old system to give to a friend

My super old Corsair closed loop CPU water cooling block died so I needed a not too expensive cooler to tide me over until I do a new full computer build. This cooler was well-reviewed on several sites.First impressions:This fan is big! Maybe I was so used to staring at my tiny watercooler block? That being said the actual heat sink is fairly thin. Big fan = good cooling with low RPMs.Install:The only down side is that the instructions were printed pretty tiny and thus hard to read. The backplate is held in place by plastic retaining clips. No you don't have to snap them on to the base of the screws - they are meant only to hold the backplate in place temporarily until you can affix the screws on the main side. Came with plenty of thermal paste although most enthusiasts will prob want to pick up their own "high end" thermal paste. I cleaned the CPU with some acetone and applied a thin layer of paste. The heatsink base is well polished. For my Z68 Mobo I screwed on two arms onto the cooler base and these lined up well with the backplate holes. No issues - everything lined up well.Use:This cooler really impressed me. With my i7-2600K clocked to 3.5 (stock is 3.4) GHz, I'm getting temps in the mid 40's (C) under full load.Would recommend!

BeQuiet e' da sempre sinonimo qualita'.Dissipatore fantastico, silenziosissimo, montato su un i5 3570k in un mini itx mantiene il processore in idle ad una temperatura di 35 gradi, a pieno carico mai superati i 60 gradi rimanendo inudibile. Estetica fantastica.Sinceramente non capisco chi ha avuto problemi nell'installazione, basta avere un po' di esperienza e seguire alcuni accorgimenti, installato in 10 minuti.......allego video che ho trovato molto utile:[...]Confezione fantastica, brava Amazon e brava BeQuiet.
