The cut off valve is not working and the water overflows into the pan. Is this a fault? And if so can it be fixed without uninstalling it?

Hi, Generally, they valve can be replaced without removing the cistern but Grohe woud potentially provide their won engineer to resolve for you. If you contact Grohe the manufacturer they will advise on what can be done as the warranty is direct with them. The flush plate can be changed on this but it has to be a Grohe flush plate as it is not universal

If the void where I want to install this is more than 230mm can I not use it? I have a soil pipe which is 250mm out from the wall it sits alongside.

You can install wall hunt toilet you just have to Build the fixings on the wall out by putting a piece of timber there and then you need a Bendy sort pipe that should work

Love Grohe products

I've had two of these installed now, the installer was surprised when I said how much I'd paid on Amazon too. These just seem to have an engineered quality about them, I've also bought Grohe taps and shower systems. The wall mounting of the pan is hygienic and looks better, especially in a small room, yet feels more solid than a floor mounted pan. Look for the kit that comes with everything including the flush plate, as these are the best value IMHO. The flush is powerful and always cleans the bowl first time. I coupled this with a Rimless RAK Resort Compact D Shape Wall Hung Toilet WC Soft Close Seat 520, which is well made and incredible value.

Quiet but tall cistern

Purchased this and installed it. Note that this model is particularly high! It was higher than I had thought so I had to make a feature of it in front of window. It worked out well and despite the extra high model I am very pleased with the outcome. Its good value and Grohe is top class.

One of the best back to wall toilet frames, like Gerberit too

No issues fitting this kit, works well, pan height can be adjusted to suit falls, or personal preferences, and all parts accessible via the flush push pad, so future maintenance is easier. It is a continental Europe standard waste fitting so you need an adapter to go into UK waste pipes. This kit came with one, not all do so check,

The frame itself is very good and the cistern is of a good size holding extra water for an immediate second short flush should you need it. The only negative is that I'm not sure I was sent the wrong plate or my installer installed it wrong. I received a vertical plate but the installation is horizontal
