Opiate

....as are all Tools albums, but this is special as its their first and much appreciated by me an OGT. Unlike Maynards buddy dressed in Vans and 501's and a Beastie T, I love absolutely everything they've done.

Arrived in good time, it's an amazing display of Tool's original flare and creativity. The quality of the recording is perfect, this album was recorded at the Sound City studio onto tape and then to Vinyl so absolutely no quality loss.

Fast delivery and good packaging.

The sound is really good on vinyl. The fantastic art work which came with the cd is not on this vinyl. It's a plain sleeve inside with the tracks numbered. The bonus track on cd is not on this ep either. It's worth noting the negative aspects that might disappoint later. On the upside the drumming sounds incredible on vinyl. If you like Tool or alternative rock from the 90's it's a must. Maynard's introduction, need I say more?

Cd top, mas a única observação que tenho é sobre a embalagem o cd veio embalado em um papel fino quase uma folha de seda e dentro de uma caixa de papelão: porém eu acho que deveria ter sido embalado com plástico bolha pois é um produto frágil e não é barato.

This first ep by Tool is an opening salvo to the grandeur and powerful expansive sound that has become part and parcel of this band. The music is taut, angry, and edgy culminating in the stellar crescendo of "Opiate". Great album but not for those easily offended.
