I am a fake tan devotee and have a wonderful velvet mitt that helps apply the magical golden stuff to limbs etc. I have always been challenged by that illusive area in the middle of the back.. I am not limber enough to reach it try though I have. If I am lucky I can call on someone to do it for me, but rather than spoil the mystery of the magic of my all over tan sometimes one wishes one could do it oneself. Enter this handy gadget by Bonds Sands. Great value for money, effective in use with good action on the hinge. Folds in half to take up less space when not in use. Has a sponge end and a velvet soft end and comes with a few replacement velvet ends. I apply fake tan to the velvet end and use the long handle to reach the part of my backs that are challenging to reach without help. Takes a bit of practice but works a treat once mastered. Not quite sure what the sponge end is for but I have utilised it to apply sun block.

Update: have been using this for over a year now and it’s super, I use it every week on the last triangle section on my back that I just cannot teach without this. Postage said 3-4 weeks and arrived in just over a week so that was a bonus. Made well, easily folds out So it is long enough to reach down your back I tend to just use it on the black side rather than the blue sponge pad. The black larger pad is just like the fabric of a tanning mitt. This really does help you get to that difficult triangle area on your back that no matter how much you try you just cannot reach!!! I use this and stand looking over my shoulder in a mirror so I can see where I need to cover, Easy to wash up and comes with two replacement black pads

i got this to tan my back as i struggle to tan the middle properly - it works ok but its hard to get an even coverage.

So this will soon become my new best friend with a little practice (more on my coordination haha) This thing is amazing along side the body brush which I'll get to in a minute it's a dream team!! Never again will I have to ask my partner or 10yr old daughter to reach that middle bit of my back because this thing has got ya girl! So this thing makes applying tan a breeze, so long as your hand eye coordination is on point there's no place you can't reach and not only that it applies streakfree with the body brush on hand for elbows, ankles hands etc and if you overlap the tan and get a slightly darker colour the brush with buff it out and give a flawless finish! I will never use another applicator other than these 2 it also comes with 3 extra velvet pads which is a bonus!! The blue sponge bit I'm still unsure of? No idea what that bits for

Looks like a good quality easy to use applicator. Haven't used yet, will be using it to apply sunscreen on an upcoming holiday and think this will be a game changer, so looking forward to trying it. My only issue is, the description and the box says it has 3 replacement pads but actually only contains 2.

I've had one (or two) of these before and like it, hence a repeat purchase. It works well with tanning mousse, gel and oil and it helps you to tan your back where you wouldn't usually be able to reach by yourself. It does come with spare pad(s) but I have not been able to figure out how to keep the spares stuck down once replaced so just buy a new one. It's good value and I'd recommend.
