This product really delivers on protection. My 93 year-old dad has super thin skin due his age which tears and bruises easily, plus he's on blood thinners which is a rough combination. Every time I would see him, there were either horrible bruises or big bandages to control bleeding from skin tears and cuts. I felt like this had to be a very common problem and started researching. I ordered 4 different products and this is the one that stood out. The fabric truly offered the buffer he needed and the right combination of density yet softness for comfort. The elastic bands at each end hold them in place but do not leave indentations on his arms. The are so comfortable I don't even have to force him to where them. He puts them on and forgets he even has them on and is really happy to have such an effective product. Highly recommended by my 93 year-old hard to impress dad (and me too)!

I run a wave solder machine where I work making pc boards. One day, I accidentally bumped the metal part of one of the jigs fresh out of the machine with the inside of my arm, right above where the glove ends. Since the jigs had made a few trips through, that brief contact was enough to blister. Had to fill out paperwork, blech. It was not a serious burn, but I didn't want to do that again. The kevlar sleeves provided make my skin itch, (they probably just need to be washed...) so I wanted to try a cottony sleeve that would help protect me from another little slip, and probably wouldn't melt to my skin. This is NOT advertised as being for protection from burns, but it's thick enough cotton I feel confident it will be an admirable barrier against brief contact. I had to cut the tubular elastic out of it because I'm sensitive to pressure points, and they slip down a bit, but I have gloves on so they don't fall off. Low down on my arms is where I want them anyway. They have enough body and thickness to them they hold their shape and don't really roll up. I just wash and dry them with my socks and that. I've been quite happy with them for over a month now. *For reference if it helps* I'm a somewhat petite female with smaller arms (5'4" 110 lbs) I got the small/medium with NO thumb holes since I'd be wearing gloves with them. They fit snug on the upper part of my lower arm, looser around the wrist but aren't tight, especially since I cut out the elastic, lol.

Made small, so the6 fit perfectly. I don’t have large arms.

As one ages, our skin becomes thin resulting in some painful experiences while doing yard work. These sleeves are great protection while pruning rose bushes, etc. My husband highly recommends them.

Comfortable and protective, but too short and are made with no taper. That way they fit net the elbow, but I need to put a safety pin in to narrow them to fit at the wrist.

Love these. They protect my arms from little baby fingernails. My little grandson pinches your arms and I’m older so I look like I’ve been abused. Since wearing these, no problem

Very happy with these. Not to tight and I feel like I finally have a tool to help all the bruises on my arms heal. I have RA and I believe it is the medication I have to take for that making my skin so thin. I am always embarrassed to show my arms in public. Hopefully with these when I am out I will be able to show smooth arms again.

I’m bruise easily and these are working for my arms. I keep bruising the same spot over and over and getting markings. I just wish I could remember to keep putting them on.

Ideal for protection when trimming bushes and trees around the garden. Also, very light and comfortable to wear.

I am old with thin skin on my forearms. These sleeves work very well to protect my forearms when doing any kind of work in the garage or in the yard. They are easy to roll on and off and fit closely without being tight. I have skinny arms (10 1/2" forearm) and the Large size fit without any undo pressure. I like them.

These arm protectors are just what the doctor ordered! I struggle with very thin skin and always have really ugly bruises on my lower arms. I tried the full arm protectors (such as used by athletes) but they were very tight and seemed to worsen the bruising. These new ones are wrist to below the elbow. They are snug but not tight and have soft cotton inners. I highly recommend this product.

I haven't used these arm protectors very much lately as we have been getting too much rain to work in the gardens, but when I have, they worked fine. They wash up really well and protect your arms from scrapes and some bruises (but not all). If you bang your arm hard enough they won't protect you. Pretty good product and I'm happy with them.

I got these to protect my arms from my dog due to having thin skin. They are very good however they are warm for the summer but I would recommend them to anyone looking for something like this for protection
