Hexago Continuo: The One-rule Game for All the Family

They say the simplest games are the best and this one certainly follows that principle. It can be as simple or as complicated as you like. Easy to pick up in less than 5 minutes for ages 8 upward. If you want to follow the more advanced scoring principles in the rules then that's fine - and will take another minute or two to master. Developing a strategy might take a bit longer but that is the fun of it. I can't see us getting bored of this anytime soon.Only minor criticism is I am not sure how long the cardboard pieces will last over an extended period but for the price you can't really complain.Definitely one I would recommend.

“One rule” is a bit of a stretch! However the few rules are quickly grasped. It’s very good for mental arithmetic (just adding and then multiplying by 2). My 9&11yr olds quite enjoyed. Yes the pieces are cardboard but they’re decent quality, and I’d much prefer that to more plastic. It’s quite small. The pieces are a similar size to a 50p (maybe a little bigger) so you’ll need your reading glasses!!!!

Good game, my 6 year really grasped the concept and we managed a game without arguing! we took a simpler form of scoring than in the instructions and didn't bother with the complicated stuff, so all the children could add up their own scores. Nice game and good concept.

Bought as a stocking filler at Christmas.Interesting little game. Ideal for teaching the children maths in a fun way.I would buy again.

Brilliant if you like dominoes but want a bit more dificulty. My family play this often..and my Dad doesnt work.out how to.win as he does with normal.dominoes. ...not yet anyway...

love this game, so easy even the kids figured out without us instructing them

This was bought for an 11 year old child who loves Chess and so I thought he might enjoy the mathematical element to this game. He said he really enjoyed it but found the rules a bit difficult to start with but ulimately said it was fun.
