How do I choose a weight other than 4kg?

Which weight should I start with?

As a personal trainer I usually recommend that beginner male clients start with 3 kettlebells, 8kg 10kg and 12kg start light, learn correct technique and as your gain strength and confidence in the many moves that can be done with kettlebells you can increase the weight. A hard question to answer without knowing your age, fitness level and exercise experience. Good luck

Is the stamped weight idication on both sides?

The weight is stamped on one side only on my 8kg kettlebell. The other side is rounded.
