Really shocked by this product it was so reasonably priced I didn’t expect much but it’s gorgeous 🤩 smells lovely, leaves a beautiful colour and no streaks on my old legs. They haven’t looked this good in years ! Really happy with this purchase 🎀

I've been using this stuff for years! I've tried all of the gradual tans and this is by far the best. No question. The colour is noticeable but natural. Not orange, not barely there. A really good looking tan without streaks or staining. The smell is very fresh which is really unusual for self tan! Will never try another brand again. Garnier Summer body is my No1

After a rough year health-wise, I missed out on most of the summer sunshine. Thankfully I’m on the mend now, but my skin clearly didn’t get the memo — especially my legs. I’m in the gym most days, usually in shorts, and between the lack of sun and the dry, dull skin, I decided it was time to do something about it. At first, I was just looking for a simple moisturiser to revive the skin on my legs, but then I stumbled across the “Garnier Summer Body Gradual Tan Moisturiser.” The reviews were solid, the price was under £6, and I thought, why not? A bit of colour wouldn’t hurt. It arrived the next day with Prime — always a bonus — but when I opened the bottle, I was hit with a scent that stopped me in my tracks. Wow. I can’t sugarcoat it — the smell was pungent. To me, it’s not pleasant at all, and it seemed to cling to my hands even after washing. I even tried to return it, only to discover it’s one of those non-returnable products. Not one to give up easily, I decided to improvise. I grabbed a pair of disposable latex gloves (the kind I normally use when prepping food), jumped in the shower, and after drying off, applied a thin line of the moisturiser down each leg. I took my time working it in, making sure it was evenly spread and absorbed properly — the texture is rich but not overly greasy, and after a few minutes, it left a slightly tacky finish. The next morning, I was honestly shocked — in a good way. My legs were smooth, the dry skin had completely disappeared, and the colour... well, it looked like I’d just come back from a two-week beach holiday. Not orange, not streaky — just a healthy, natural glow. Even better, the results lasted. I didn’t reapply for over a week, and the colour only began to fade around day eight. The moisturising effect lasted even longer — my legs still felt hydrated and looked far healthier than before. So, while I’m still not a fan of the strong smell, I can’t deny the impressive performance of this product. It does exactly what it promises — hydrates dry skin and builds a beautiful, gradual tan without fuss. If you can get past the scent (or use gloves like I did), this is genuinely a fantastic moisturiser with the added bonus of a natural-looking tan. Highly recommended — it’s a lot of sunshine in a bottle for the price.

I love this ! first time of trying anything like this as naturally have quite pale skin and fine with that but wanted to keep my tan a bit longer after a holiday in May and it’s amazing ! After one or two uses I could really tell a difference. It’s really enhanced my tan and my skin feels lovely and soft, no streaks either. I use Garnier body lotion anyway and so glad I bought this, great price too. The only thing I’m not too keen on is the smell but that’s only personal preference and definitely wouldn’t stop me buying it again.

Love this gradual tanner. It builds up to a lovely colour. After 2 to 3 layers, I am fair skinned and got the medium to dark colour which works well because I can see a visible tan with just one use although is still quite light but it is very moisturising smells lovely. Just be careful too really rubbing well in circular motions to avoid streaks.

I bought this not knowing what to expect, the reviews were good so I thought I would give it a go. I am very fair skinned and not good in the sun at all so sunbathing is not for me I have very dry skin and have always had problems with fake tans even expensive ones on the dry parts of my body, well this gradual tan moisturiser is a game changer and I will never use anything else now. I showered and applied it evenly, there isn’t a sticky residue after you apply it just nice moisturised skin. I wasn’t expecting much difference but the next day I was really surprised to see that my body had a lovely bronze glow…no streaks just an even tan so I applied it again that evening and it has given me a nice even tan, no dark dry patches and my skin feels moisturised. I won’t be spending tons of cash on tanning products from now on I will be purchasing this, it really is that good! I only have one downside but it’s the same with any self tanning product…..the biscuit smell 😝 but I can put up with that to have this lovely glow

I love this product because it is incredibly gentle on my skin and gives a great natural tan. However, it has two major downsides: it makes your skin feel quite slippery, and if you sweat even a little bit, the lotion transfers easily. It has turned my clothes and bedsheets a yellowish color, so I highly recommend being very careful with what you wear or sleep on after applying it.

Endlich eine Selbstbräunungslotion ganz nach meinem Geschmack. Benutze gerne die Lotionen von Garnier, da sie sich immer leicht auftragen lassen, sehr gut und schnell einziehen und einen angenehmen dezenten Duft haben. Die Bräunung ist schön natürlich und es entwickelt sich nicht der typische Selbstbräuner-Duft. Werde ich auf jeden Fall nachkaufen. Habe ich noch nie in einem Laden gesehen - Text ist auch nur in englisch. Bleibt mal wieder nur Amazon.

Excellent product, leaves skin golden, and a pleasant smell

Love this! A good gradual tan, no orange. Beats my St.Tropez. Easy to apply, no streaks. Just be careful with dry spots and wash your hands after application. Wish they had some darker shades next.

Best gradual self tanner that I have ever used! Smells wonderful. Gives a great glow of a tan and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry.
