IP66 External/Outdoor Waterproof Junction Box (86x50x50mm (SlimLine))

Really good weather proof electrical box with multiple entry points, including 2 entry points on the bottom. I bought 2 of the slimline boxes for external lighting on my summerhouse, and they have done the job perfectly with plenty of room for some extra cable to be tucked inside. ALL entry points on these boxes have a rubber membrane across them, just simply pearce them and push your cable through. Very easy installation with a back bracket included inside the boxes.

This box was just right for the job I intended it for, ie. joining camera cables under my house eaves.

Robust black plastic. Rubber seals at entry points quite strong and it's easy to fit compression couplings as an alternative. Lid has a gasket but 1/4 turn corner locks don't seem to hold as firmly as screws would. Nice simple junction box with ample room for 2 no. 3 core wires. Note: cable connection block not included

It's a bit concerning when advertised as IP.66 (waterproof) bit nothing is stamped ( that I can see) on product to confirm that complience. The only 'proof' that I can see is on Label on the shrink wrapped plastic! Is that good enough?

Good value for money, compact and watertight easy to instal all you need is a connector raw plugs and screws.
