I purchased this primarily to make Crinkle Cut sweet potato fries. The blade is firm enough to cut through sweet potatoes. On large potatoes, I recommend you cut the potato in half to ease the slicing process. We use this knife on most other vegetables for snacking, including cucumbers and carrots. Makes a nice presentation and adds some flair to your vegetable tray!

I used this today, 23 July, 2016 to crinkle cut 75 pickling cucumbers! I was absolutely AMAZED HOW sharp the knife is as well as the easy of cutting! I had my cucumbers for bread and butter pickles done in 30 minutes! This knife has a nice CLEAN CUT! I LOVE IT! Best investment I ever made into my canning! I will be using it NEXt to cut potatoes for french fries and/or potato chips!

Searching for a low cost, sturdy crinkle cut knife that makes pronounced crinkle cuts in potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, fruits and other vegetables was difficult since many crinkle cut knives left a lot to be desired and did not perform adequately enough for me. Finally, I have found this crinkle cut knife that suits my needs. I have used this crinkle cut knife to cut potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, red bell peppers and red onions and the depth of the crinkle cut was perfect. The crinkle cut knife was easy to use, comfortable to use, sturdy and sharp enough to do hard vegetables just by pressing down on the handle. For people with very weak hand strength, pressing down on top of the blade with one hand while holding the handle with the other may be necessary. It says the knife is stainless steel and dishwasher safe but it appears to have a bright polish chrome finish, so I would not trust putting it in the dishwasher, I just hand wash it to be safe. Like I said, this knife is sturdy for cutting vertically but can bend side ways if used improperly, after all it's a thin wavy blade. So look no further for an inexpensive crinkle cut knife because this knife is a winner.

Light weight and gets the job done. Makes nice decorative slices of veggies, it made my stir fry more visually appealing. Great service, prompt delivery. Very happy!

As others have noted, this will take a while to get to you. But, if you want a good crinkle knife, order it. Just buy it, forget about it, and be really pleasantly surprised when it shows up and you go “ Oh yeah, I forgot about that. What a nice surprise!” This knife is sturdy, feels good in my hand, and most importantly, it arrived SUPER SHARP. I cut through a bunch of carrots like butter. Highly recommend.

This knife is great and sharp. It has a strong handle. I would recommend it if you are willing to wait for it. I purchased it on October 8, 2021 and received on November 14, 2021. It was delivered well within the delivery dates (before November 29th) from Thailand. It was packed very well. IMPORTANT: In the description they mistakenly said than the Blade Material is Plastic. It is not plastic. It is stainless steel of a very good quality.
