Brainstorm Toys Kids Outdoor Adventure Microscope – Small Portable Microscope with 20x to 40x Magnification, Perfect for Nature Exploration and STEM Learning

I got this for my daughter when she was 3 or 4 after seeing it at a friend’s place and have since bought another one for a slightly older nephew as it’s so good. Everyone is surprised by how well it works - it is a really powerful microscope and we’ve had loads of fun looking at and learning about everything from the diodes on TV screens to the fibres of clothes to leaves and feathers. It often accompanies us on walks since it’s small and light. The only problem is that the clear round bit on the end falls off easily and can get lost. The microscope still works without it but it’s a little harder to hold in the right place (its function is to touch the surface so that the actual lens is a few millimetres away from the item being looked at and the light shines on the item). But otherwise it’s flawless - the light is important, the focus adjustment easy though rarely needed as it stays focused once set.

Bought as a Christmas gift. Grandson loved it. Explored his garden for bugs. A sturdy item for small hands

Nice product. I just wish it had more magnification

Love this! Great kids gadget, surprised by the quality and ease of use. Kids have been investigating everything they can get their hands on

This was a gift for a 9 year old bug-mad girl. It’s really durable, works well and is the perfect size. My 6 year old son can also use it comfortable, and it’s really good quality and lots of fun. Overall it looks great and is definitely worth the money - I felt it ended up quite the bargain!

Great present for 6 year old boy , but the bit which keeps the object at the correct distance was broken off very easily. He still loves it but very disappointed

Very good. Keeps kids quiet

Very impressed by these. Bought them for use in the garden during the summer and had a shot myself and was amazed at the quality of the viewfinder and magnification. Used with bugs and plantlife you get some amazing detail when used out in good light. They are well put together and the lanyard is a great help making sure they don't get left behind when out and about. The light is also handy although we've yet to put it to any real test in bad light. I can't believe these can be had for less than £5. A lovely little educational toy that would be great for curious minds during the summer months.

Pour un cadeau de Noël à un enfant qui aime explorer

Buena herramienta didáctica. Tres años funcionando, con un cambio de pila hace unos seis meses.

Mio figlio di 5 anni lo adora. funziona benissimo

I bought four of these for school nature backpacks. We’ve had tabletop microscopes with poor or average resolution that were $50 or more. These have great resolution, are lightweight enough for young children, and the little button cell batteries (included) are covered with a screwed-on cover. We plan to order more. The value is great.

Super, ich bin sehr zufrieden. Lässt gut Texture erkennen, Beleuchtung genau richtig. Für Schulkinder top!
