These nail clippers do the job and feel easier to control than normal adult clippers. When our baby was younger, we preferred using one of the small rotating electric nail files because it felt less stressful with tiny newborn nails. Now that she is 15 months old and her nails are stronger, moving to proper baby nail clippers makes more sense and these feel like a safer option than using standard clippers. The real problem is not the product, it is our toddler! She absolutely hates having her nails cut and sometimes starts crying just from seeing the clippers, so doing all ten fingers can be a challenge. This was a low cost alternative to the electronic nail file and works just as well, if not better. Much quicker than the electronic nail files which makes it much easier with a busy toddler. Small enough to fit into a nappy bag or travel bag. A great item to add to a baby shower gift.
