I recently decided to expand the storage capacity on my PS5. After looking around I decided to change out the expansion cover as well. In my mind this will help to keep the expansion cooler. So far, so good! No issues and fits perfectly.

It does what it's supposed to, doesn't fit as well as original slot cover due to it being a little tighter, it's noticeably bent and sticking out, until it's screwed down tightly, after that it still doesn't just sit as flush as the original cover, and the material isn't necessarily made of high quality, dense metal like the original; it's lighter and more fragile. The chrome color looks great, and contrasts the inner case really well, and gives it a look as if it's almost meant to be there as opposed to the stock cover. I'm assuming the material is aluminum, but I know it's more delicate and more easily susceptible to damage compared to the stock cover, which I feel makes the price seem a little high, even with the included accessories. Although the installation didn't feel as smooth as I'd hoped, in terms of design, this is how it should have been from stock, because the original cover blocks airflow, which makes this part a nice quality of life replacement. If it doesn't work as intended, I will come back with an update on its functionality.

Arrived on schedule. Was adequately packed considering it arrived from outside India. Product is as advertised and came with + screw driver as well. No defects were observed. Has a couple of mm more head room than the stock cover. My ssd with heat sink no longer touches this new cover. I believe the price could have been a little cheaper ~ ₹1500 mark. Fingers crossed, hopefully this helps with heat management for the ssd in the long run.

Fits ps5 pro perfectly. But does leave tiny tiny gap up were this cover tapers in towards the screw section. But not enouth to bother anything im just ocd and it doesent bother me. Grab one it has been proven heat testing the m2 runs cooler with vent holes or cover off. So this is perfect. And looks cool even though you dont see it. But looks cool when fitting lol

Like : Easy to install & it look awesome in Chrome finished! Definitely winner in the looks department. Dislike : Kinda pricey if compared to other known brands with similar performance. Could have been a little cheaper. Conclusion: The only reason I bought this is because of it’s look. But performance wise same to the other known brand. Got a 4TB WD Black to cool off so I replaced the stock one for this. The other brand designed is kinda old school this a little bit cheaper not by much. If you don’t care about the look go buy the known one.
